UAAP season 86

There needs to be more games . I dont understand why the UAAP doesnt want more money. 3 month season that could be extended into 6 months. No need for whole day wednesday games.The Officiating is bad . They call it like fiba which is good but without the consistency and can be bias. Dlsu adu final 4 during mbala’s last year was abhorent , admu ue was also bad. 14 Games could be extended one more round into 21 .

Making it 4 years also wont go over well with schools so im not gonna bring that up. More than anything uaap is closer to european EPL football. Where theres rich teams that poach players from poorer teams. So it can still be entertaining to viewers even if the same teams win over and over again.
 
NU board rep Nilo Ocampo confirms Ken Padrones requires surgery for 3 fractures (including nasal & orbital) on his face & will likely be out for the remainder of UAAP86. The VP also said that NU sent a letter to the UAAP Commissioner to further review his collision with UP’s Malick Diouf in their game last Saturday & upgrade his unsportsmanlike foul to a 1-game suspension, but because they have not received a response and Diouf played in UP’s following game against FEU, they believe the call is upheld.

“We feel bad about it, but that’s how it is – we just have to respect their decision – but we’re not happy with the decision,” Ocampo said.

No response from the Commissioner is in such bad taste. At least have the decency to deny the request on record.

UP now trying the big lineups. Combos of Pablo and either Gagate or Alter, and then lining up Lopez and Torculas at 3, and now lining up Chicco Briones at 2.

It's almost a FIBA lineup.

Not csb tho lol, they're the ones pa nga being branded as soft by other fans eh haha. NCAA is just more physical than UAAP, but if you look past that, level of play have increased, escpecially this year with lots of newly hired coaches having pro experience before, while beda and csb also hired consultants in norman black and rajko toroman. Not having FSA's still suck tho.

Why just UAAP & NCAA just combine and formed a biggest collegiate/university ala US NCAA? Also include some universities in the provinces....
