Turkish Prospects

I really hope so but we know from various experiences with turkish talents that they make the mistake of leaving a team where they could play with ease for the bigger club... really hope he doesn't return to efes after this year even if he has an amazing season

He signed for two years with TT Ankara.

Melih Tunca is a first rounder in 2025 if turkish bb would know how to handle a talent of his calibre. You must give your talent the chance too shine.......but talking about a country where erdogan is..............

He has trouble securing the ball from pressure.

This is the key for him.

Amazing transformation of Sarper David Mutaf. I always knew that he has what it takes to be a great combo scoring guard. Amazing game against Efes.

Kaan onat is putting up big numbers in tbl this season... 32pts 8 assists today... I'm really curious if he's ever going to be an EL level player

'02 and above looks promising to say the least:

tunca-derin ustun
Kutluay-onat
Buyuktuncel-mutaf
Kuthan-alyanak
Sengun-bona

Possible suprises:
demir dogan-tibet gorener-rrezon elezaj-eray buyukcangaz-?

Our NBA guys probably will end up as disappointments in Euroleague.

Cedi said he is in his prime and wants to go back NBA but I think he is far away from his prime. Even in EuroBasket 2015, he was more creative and effective. Defensively, he makes small mistakes all the time. It is really hard to play with him right now. But he can be better defensively as the season goes, there is still room. On the positive side, he is better 3pt shooter. I think he reached his prime times around World Cup 2019. To sum up, probably Papapetrou will be main SF which is a thing I scared most. To witness that Papapetrou is better than Cedi. Cedi will fight with Grigonis for rotation minutes.

Yurtseven is far away to be a guy for a Euroleague contender. His basketball IQ is just too low. He is an offensive hole. I am not sure he is better than Balcerowski and probably he deserves to be in Eurocup level team like him.

Korkmaz is not ready and he will never be. He is talented but it is not enough. If he was ready and trained well, then he might still be in NBA. Monaco made a deal with Loyd. Calathes, James, Okobo, Strawzel, Loyd and even Begarin. There are too much players and probably Korkmaz will be out of rotation.

And now Bitim. We will see what he gonna do.

It is really hard to admit that but it explains the loss against Greece in Olympic Qualifiers.

I hope at least Osman will make a jump and will be part of the team. For other two, it is not easy.

Stop talking bullshit like "Papapetrou is better than Osman". He needs time. The timing is just shitty which is normal but Osman is not a reliable shooter on the other hand he will give PAO good transition offense. NBA is not an option for him anymore.

He is maybe not for a contender and is surely too soft but he is definitely Euroleague material. Considering guys like Papagiannis or Marjanovic playing for Euroleague teams no need to exaggerate here.

Again bullshit. Korkmaz will start unless he cant get ready.

The reason why we lost there is just a lack of guards and decision makers.

Kaan onat truly has an amazing feel for the game... such a natural passer... also looking at onat kutluay and tunca we can easily say efes has the best academy of turkey

But still turkish basketball needs banvit... alperen is going to have made like 500m euros at the end of his career I wouldn't be suprised if he brings back banvit in a few years

I had the same feelings.

Efes next big prospects coming too. Darius Carutasu(09) will be the next one. Some action from him, 1 position from Doruk Oztas.

Lukas Jasikevicius(2012) plays for Fener U14 team. TBF will even try that he so plays for turkish U14 NT. TBF has no ethic. Anyway he will play for Lithuinia.

185m deal locked for sengun... this is actually insane for turkish basketball what a story starting from a little town called Giresun....

Is darius really that good?? I feel like he isn't that special outside of his shooting but I'm not an expert ofc

We desperately need some forward prospects. Is he tall enough to play as a forward?

Also, what is his situation? Will he play for T
