Actually, he is physical, he does not shy away from contact and defends very well and is very jumpy despite being not ready.

Its way too early to decide it.

The only thing that will lower his value is lack of height but he is very tough.

Yes, most likely he will be good athlete enough. For 15yo there's tons of mobility and skill. Just we have to wait if his physicality will translate smoothly. Some guys who look athletic and smooth as 15-17yo later become rigid when adds mass. I think with Omer it won't be the case knowing great genes, but I'm missing a bit of lighting burst, like true agility while driving, but it should be evident later when he will become stronger and older.

Verticality might be an issue but if he reaches the 2m fields he will get drafted no matter what. Lets wait and see for the next year. I cant hardly wait ^^

I care little about vertical leap or whatever. I want to see more shiftness and elite agility while going down hill to the cup. If he has that, he will have all it takes to dominate.

Oh I think he has a natural talent to create high percentage shots although having an immature body and he creates them in a very easy way but you can watch the LTU-Turkey game tomorrow. We will need him to deliver.

I truly cant imagine how good hell be in 3 years he looks generational. I hope his body develops the best way possible its going to make or break him (differnece between nba or EL)

Emre Melih Tunca is going to play in Ankara for TT. I was so sad that the loan was canceled but its happening and I know how precious Melih Tunca is for Erdem Can. He has recently said that he will give Turkish players more credit. This might be the start of the golden era of Turkish basketball. We have to make him ready for the Olympics 2028

Emre Melih Tunca - Derin Can Ustun - Kaan Onat - Omer Kutluay. We will carry them all to high level basketball!

Also quite random but I feel like our only pg prospect atm is melih tunca. I am sure that omer kutluay is going to develop into a SG but I also feel the same about derin can. He's not the player you'd trust running your offense but has a lot of scoring potential.

Derin Can is still worlds better than what we have rn but you are right. Derin still is a very solid p&r initiator.

Well, Anil Alyanak started very bad but he made a good progress during the tournament. He has a very solid physical profile and will probably end up being 6'9 or even 6'10 tall. He can create face up near the basket, he has shooting upside and has defended very well so far. Additionally, he is very athletic for a Turkish player.

Cant be that positive about Ziyaettin. I dont have any expectations of him.

Yes, we have come to the end of another summer. When we look at the 4 championships and the results, it was not a very successful season, but we saw good performances from our guards. Now, starting with Melih, we must gradually bring these four talented guards to the level we want.

After Kaan Onat - Derin Can Ustun in U17, I liked Kocagozoglu and Cengiz Coskun. Apart from Melih Tunca - Berke Buyuktuncel in U20, no one is good. Elezay in U18 is an NBA prospect for me. An incredible physical profile. Omer Kutluay - Anil Alyanak in U16

Most importantly, Melih Tunca needs to have a good season and prepare for Eurobasket 2025. Last time, there was a 20-year-old Cedi Osman in Eurobasket 2015 with a serious role. Still, even though I don't want it, we will need a naturalized guard.

Omer Kutluay- Real Madrid (Spain)

Projected Level: HM+

Position- PG

Nationality- Turkey

Birth Year- 2009

Height- 6’4

Active hand- Right

4 GP, 29.2 MIN, 19.0 PTS, 26/48 2FG (54%), 5/15 3FG (33%), 9/14 FT (64%), 4.8 REB (1.3 OREB), 4.0 AST, 3.8 TO, 1.3 STL, 16.0 EFF.

Omer Kutluay is extremely talented and crafty point guard. He showed that he is one of the biggest talents of 2009 age. Great ball handling skills, copes very well with pressure and stronger players. Amazing playmaker with outstanding court vision, great at P&R actions. He is not afraid of contact and often literally jumps into the opponent. Kutluay plays very well one on one and is great at creating space for himself.

Decent defender who presses the ball well. He defends the off ball very well and moves smoothly through screens. Omer has problems with stronger players, but this will be resolved when he plays with players his own age.

Projected level HM+ with other words true NBA talent right away. But its really too early and his body is not ready at all. For me who watched almost all games.

Omer Kutluay was the best 2009 born player alongside Fabian Kayser. Also Kayser disappointed to a certain extend he showed his value.

With that being said Omer Kutluays only weakness seems to be his outside shot. The shot doesnt look half bad but he lacks strength and speed. If his outside shot comes around he will be an outstanding prospect if nothing like injury etc. happens.

He surpassed all my expectations. He is so good that I am expecting him to take a role in the WC 27.

Emre Melih Tunca finished the U20 European championship with 17.6 points and 6.4 assists. The almost 2006 born point guard has a bit of Oded Kattash. Very smooth game, good decision making, communicates well, is a very reliable mid range shooter and can create in multiple ways from the mid range position.

Very solid rim driver and can use this threat to run some pick and roll action. A not bad spot up shooter but he cant create a shot from three pointer now, must work on his frame.

I was very upset when the foretold loan was not happening but it happened eventually. I will watch him closely but I dont expect a break out season a la Alperen Sengun in his MVP season. I think a 15 - 20 minutes from the bench is a realistic scenario. I really hope we can see him in the Euroasket 2025 roster.

Not that it is very important but according to Eurohopes Emre Melih Tunca is a top five player of the 2005 generation.
