It's a good thing for Spanouli but I think they need someone to play behind Deke right now and become Yao's long term back-up.
This trade also show Rocks management wants to help out Spanouli with his adjustment to the nba and life in the US.

I don't think this has anything to do with making Spanoulis feel better by signing another Greek. After all they are grown men.

true, the main reason was to have another big as a back-up, nonetheless it seems that this move will benefit Vassili mainly off the court.

So, according to you, Tsakalidis is "russian" but Mirsad and Ersan are Turkish. Please explain the differences.

Tsakalidis is Russian because once Russia occupied all those lands. Same for us, Mirsad is Turkish becuase once Ottoman had all those lands. His family is a muslim Turkish who used to live in Serbia(it was a part of Ottoman). The only difference is, once Ottoman collapsed many Turks came back to Turkey, while they decided to stay there. Same goes to Tsakalidis

speakin of this nationalistic factioning going on, you think Europe will ever become more centralized as a whole nation instead of a group of states based on a confederacy known as the EU imho

That's one helluva logic man. Flawed in more than one aspects. I will remind myself next time not to start an argument with you as I am, by and large, wasting my time...
