Julian Wright is my one of most favorite player. I love when hi plays.

Representatives from Toronto will meet with former Nets bigman Andray Blatche this Wednesday. According to reports, Blatche wants a three year deal.

Very impressive night for the little man from North Philly! Did you know that kid's high school isn't even open anymore? Cardinal Doc in Olney, the alma mater of Cuttino Mobley as well.

If Lowry played more like Kyrie or John Wall and wasn't so pass first, he'd easily average more than both of those guys. He's been an amazing scorer ever since his days at Nova. The funny thing is there's no way he'd be drafted in this day and age. That really shows the problem with the current way the NBA is run.

Toronto Raptors did a slight rebranding with their logo and theme.

Great job by Lou Williams and Greivis Vasquez tonight against the Knicks. There were no wings who could stop them from the bench and even the Knicks starters had no answer, being fixated on Lowry and DeRozan.

Another article on the rise of Canadian basketball, this one by the New York Times: http://www.nytimes.com/2014/12/25/s...boom-north-of-the-border.html?ref=sports&_r=1

Odd, but I don't remember LA ever monopolizing producing the best talent in the NBA. I remember New York, Chicago, and Philly pretty much for a century now but then again that's probably because I don't live in the land of make believe where one entire state can barely compete with a single metro yet somehow one of that state's cities "monopolized producing the best talent" along with New York. Yeah, okay.

DeRozan in action tonight and he does look healthy. Shaking off rust by being active on the floor on both ends.

Wow, Kyle Lowry is a horrid game finisher...He choked last season in the playoffs and any time he tries to close the game he can't even take a shot of. Raptors has no closer of the game so I see the same scenario in the playoffs for them.

A day after clinching the Atlantic division where DeRozan was quiet for the past two games, he exploded tonight with 42 points against James Harden and the Rockets. He is much better when he uses that agility to attack instead of just shooting when he gets a bit of space.

That look on James Harden when he saw that DeRozan was getting fouled and being sent to shoot FT's was priceless despite flustered.

New Raptors' uniforms perhaps? If so, simplistic but very sweet. No Crayola colors. Just straight black, red and white.

I like them also. Minimal with a modern typography up front. Nice touch on the chest-piece that simply strikes out.

I think these uniforms are killing anything the Raptors have put out before. There was talk the franchise had considered completely rebranded its identity; team name, colors and logo. Thankfully they didn't. I had nothing against their nickname. But I've always hated their cartoonish looking uniforms and the loud purple, red and black color scheme.

According to the news, Raptors and Valanciunas are nearing an extension deal.

Raptors first pre season win against the Clippers. Strong performance from K.Lowry:eek:

Good to hear about that. It seems Lowry's offseason work and slimming down has him conditioned for the season. Last year, there were games where it seems he just ran out of energy.

I don't care that its only preseason games. Kyle Lowry 40 Points vs Minnesota Timberwolves. He looks great.

Just when you thought this week couldn't get any worse, Valanciunas gets injured and he's out for a Month at least. Massive blow for the Raptors in my opinion. Lately he's been criticized by a lot of fans including me sometimes. But we will see now how Raptors do without him. Biyombo looks like a solid rebounder and an okay defender but even in defense he gets called for very stupid fouls and that's what limits him in games sometimes, On Offense he can barely score when he is alone. Nogueira might get his chance but he isn’t fully NBA-ready yet. Patterson and Scola Is also another option at Five.
