To borrow one of Bill Simmons's favorite pieces of NBA commentary, Lithuania is a veteran of the bronze medal game process. Should be a good battle but you never know which team is going to care in these games. Not like playing for an Olympic medal.
 
Hate to say that, but Serbia is a terrible, terrible matchup for our team. Good shooters, inside presence in Krstič, best floor general in Europe (Teodosič), and all that with intensive defense...

However, Lithuania will fight till the end. As allways in this WC :) Pirmyn, Lietuva!
 
I could see Serbia coming out flat due to how they lost. But it's always hard to tell in these games.
 
I feel so horrible right now, so I must imagine how the player`s feel right now.
Honestly I dont think that we can recovery from todays "show".
 
I secretly hope that Serbia will be crushed after today's shameful loss.. :rolleyes: However, Serbs always fight till the end, no matter what, just like we do, so we should see a great game tomorrow. Serbia is a definite favorite, but I believe that Lithuania can pull it together and get another bronze.. :)
 
I can see two possible outcomes:
1)Serbian players go out enraged after today's whatever you call it. Serbia wins by big margin
2)Serbian players devastated about today's... Lithuania wins by big margin
:)
whatever happens, it will be big margin by one team(minimum +10)
 
It doesn't matter who wins in this game... the winner will be BASKETBALL!

This is be pure joy for all basketball lovers, better game then rigged final!!

I agree, it will be pure joy for basketball fans, a great game to watch.
Teodosic vs Kleiza, the former co-players.
I will be with serbia due to coach Duda :D
 
Hopefully boys will get their shit together and get those medals ,every medal is a great success for this young team. I am looking forward to this game.
 
Anyway Serbia deserves more than Lithuania to be third.But i support Lit because I like their fast open field basketball.Also the other matter Serbians did not respect anybody and probably will not respect Lit.And the last one Serbia have dirty player Teodosic..

I hope Lithuania will win.

You right, but in my opinion Turkey is even worse. Turkey has plenty of bigs, I mean real bigs + until the game against Serbia they played very disciplined and smart BB and had a great consistency and off course home court advantage! That's why I wanted Serbia, even if I'm far from being convinced we can win this one.

The biggest problem with Serbia is not frontcourt, it's Teodosič! Like it wouldn't be enough they have Rasič and Markovič and both of them are not worse at PG position than our one and only Kalnietis (at least Kemzūra thinks so).
If Lithuania will come with the same "seek and destroy" attitude in this game against Serbia, Serbs will have fun.

On other hand, Lithuania might be fresher and better prepared psychologically while Serbs must be in little shock.
 
serbia is obviously the favourite for bronze medal. however Turkey vs. Serbia match was very demanding so i guess Serbia NT will be more tired than Lithuania NT. phyisical tiredness might make a difference in favor of lithuania.
 
Serbia definitely will win this game.They are much better than Lithuania
 
Gonna be a great game i think. Probably gonna be around 160 points or so in total. I have been loving Lithuania since the start of the tournament, they are playing way above their potential and are probably the second best team in the tournament and also they have a great bunch of supporters. Love watching them sing and cheer even when their team was down by 15 and 2 minutes or so were left in the game.
 
Should be a lovely game. Young, future powerhouse teams battling it out. Also two bball traditions and a chance to update my signature. Classic.
 
Both Serbia and Lithuania are great teams. They both play very good basketball and they both are very dangerous teams. It will surely be a very though game. Serbia played better then Lithuania in whole tournament and actually they played way better then Turkey in semi final game , however small mistakes cost them the final. Teodosiç is a great point guard and he organizes his team perfectly. But i think Lithuania has a better chance on winning the bronze medal as they didn't played a very though game like Serbia played tonight. Also loosing the game on last second can surely effect their morale. I just wish we will have chance to watch a great basketball game. Good luck to both teams on bronze medal game.

However i will like to comment about Serbia team as they posses great potential and surely next decade they will have chance to win possibly multiple championships. It was a pleasure for me to watch a great team like Serbia.
