The Washington Wizards players have met closed doors. The meeting was between players only,

Veteran guard Maurice Evans was quoted:

We have to be real with ourselves. The sense of entitlement that's here sometimes, I've never seen before.

Went to the TWolves game today and the Celtics game last week and I think need to keep going to Wizards games this year...they are hilariously awful. Almost had a whole row of seats to myself today.

People want to fire the coach but I don't see the point, teams play to their talent level in the NBA regular season and there's even less practice time than usual so a new coach isn't going to implement anything that effectively. Maybe it would give a short term attitude adjustment but a couple losses in a row and it would be back to normal.

The Washington Wizards remain winless at 0-8 as they lost the visiting Minnesota Timberwolves 93-72.

Surprisingly their first in the league in blocked shots, but it's converting that to points that's the problem, 2nd to the last in ppg and fg %. I think Andray Blatche and Nick Young are just plain horrendous players/teammates.

ESPN reports that head coach Flip Saunders is not in immediate danger for being fired.

The Washington Wizards getting their first win of the season with a little help from home remedy as they rout the Toronto Raptors 93-78. Rashard Lewis and Nick Young had 15 points each to lead the team.

Fox Sports Radio reports that the Washington Wizards have been gauging the interest around the league for a potential trade that will have them ship out power forward Andray Blatche. Blatche was relegated to the reserve role due to off-court problems.

Despite the 103-90 loss against the Philadelphia 76ers, center Javale McGee had a monster double double of 23 points, 18 rebounds and 5 blocks.

Other wizards players do have merit as well:

Nick Young - 27 points, 7 rebounds
John Wall - 19 points, 9 rebounds, 9 assists.

Wall had 8 turnovers.

Wizards waste their best offensive performance of the year and lose to the Rockets.

Head coach Flip Saunders reprimanded Javale McGee for this self alley-oop.

OKC 102 WAS 105

The Washington Wizards silencing the Thunder on this thrilling win. John Wall had an all around game of 25 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists. Nick Young unloaded 24 points while Jordan Crawford off the bench with 18 points.

Andray Blatche had his start and responded with a double double of 12 points and 10 rebounds.

Despite 41 minutes from Avery Bradley the Wizards still lost to the Celtics.

Imagine of the Wizards get to pick first in the 2012 NBA Draft. They will most likely draft Anthony Davis Jr. from the University of Kentucky; a superbly skilled bigman. Fitted for the power forward spot of the Wizards. Imagine a front court of JaVale McGee and Anthony Davis Jr., the menacing defense through shot-blocking would be a potential NBA best.

But we are looking too far ahead though.

Head coach Flip Saunders was fired and assistant coach Randy Wittman was named interim head coach.
