Rookie Brad Beal will miss the remainder of the games due to a leg injury.

John Wall's 37 points was a strong driving force as Wizards upset the playoffs bound Indiana Pacers 104-85.

The Washington Wizards and free agent Eric Maynor have agreed in principle for a contract.

Wizards re-signed Martell Webster to a four year contract worth $22 Million.

John Wall just signed a near max extension. I hope he remains healthy throughout as the Arenas story is still fresh from recent memory.

Wizards worked out veteran bigman Al Harrington, who was recently waived by the Orlando Magic weeks ago. Rumor has it that the Wizards are signing him to a non-guaranteed contract.

Nene Hilario seems to be healthy and has been working out with several Wizards player. Joining them is the recently acquired guard Eric Maynor.

Washington loses two bigmen:

Emeka Okafor (Herniated Disc) - Out indefinitely
Chris Singleton (Fractured foot) - 6 to 8 weeks out

Washington sends Okafor and their 2014 First Round protected pick to the Phoenix Suns for Marcin Gortat and guards Shannon Brown, Malcolm Lee and Kendall Marshall.

Looks like the Wizards are going for a playoff push this year and Gortat gives them added interior presence. Brown will fit in nicely with the Wizards uptempo game.

Trevor Ariza has been productive to start the season and that goes when he is healthy. Something that rookie Otto Porter can learn from.

Despite the Wizards falling to Kevin Durant and the OKC Thunder, what a game by Brad Beal!!

Ariza is looking healthy alright. 3 steals in four minutes against the Mavericks.

While Otto Porter and James Singleton have been practicing with the team, Wizards lose Brad Beal due to a stress injury on the leg. Beal will be sidelined for two weeks.

John Wall has been on a tear as of late. Three straight 30+ games and recently named eastern player of the week. Wizards ranked #6 in the East despite a 7-8 record.

This is a reminiscent of the 2006-07 season where eastern teams with losing records made the playoffs. Only Indiana and Miami are winning and the Bulls at .500 with an 8-8 record.
