The New Orleans Pelicans

Almost a victory. Eric Gordon and Jrue Holiday tore it up and things look promising for their cohesion. Evans bounced from SG to SF and lost his game.

Good game by Tyreke Evans. Got going late in the 3rd and helped put the finishing touches in the 4th.

It is reported that the Pelicans have signed free agent swingman Josh Childress.

From the other night: Career game for Anthony Davis.

Future MVP of the league, IMO. He has all the tools on both ends of the floor. He's extremely efficient- takes high % shots, rebounds well, defends well both his man and is a great help side defender, rebounds very well, runs the floor, doesn't turn the ball over very often.

A lot of experts have picked guys like Irving or Wiggins as future MVPs a few years down the road but if I'm betting $ I'm putting it on Anthony Davis.

Well said and I agree. Great start for him and has put a lot of work this summer. That age old jinx of sophomore slump is far away from Davis.

One of those games where Pelicans did everything right as they pounced on the Philadelphia 76ers. Anthony Davis owned the paint while the back-court of Gordon and Holiday did the most damage as they shredded Philadelphia's guards. Ryan Anderson is progressing with his return and Tyreke Evans, playing home in Philadelphia sparked the bench.

Pelicans adding more misery to the Knicks last night. Ryan Anderson killed them with his shooting from downtown while Tyreke Evans broke them down with his slashing saviness. Both interior defense and shooter coverage were exposed.

Reports this morning came in and Anthony Davis is out indefinitely with a hand fracture.

Ryan Anderson with another splendid game. Clutch baskets in the 3OT. Tyreke Evans connected with Jrue Holiday for an AND1 finish to overcome the Bulls. Starters played well and Evans is making strides with his efficiency as a sixth man.

Tyreke made a triumphant return to Sacramento by being the sixth man of the team. Evans showcased his ability to drive to the lane, finish and draw fouls. Evans played with motivation as he made some nifty assists and that ball hawking defense leading to steals.

Another good game for Tyreke Evans tonight. 19pts, 10asts, 7rebs and 2 steals as New Orleans proved too much for the Nuggets.

Tyreke Evans a game winning dagger against the Portland Trailblazers. Team effort in all but I am quite happy about Evans being a major contributor this month with his new team. His statistics are up, much like his high times with Sacramento.

Still no timetable of return for Ryan Anderson, who is still in Boston after his freak collision against a Celtics player. Anderson was not with the team tonight against the Indiana Pacers.

Ryan Anderson confirmed that he will miss two months worth of games with a herniated disc.

Win or lose tonight, Anthony Davis will set a new personal record for rebounds. He has a double double now and with 7 blocks, could end up with a triple double. Davis has more blocks than the Magic combined.

Davis finished with 22 points and 19 rebounds. Good game from Tyreke Evans: 23 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists + 2 steals.

Davis now has 8 blocks and Cleveland Cavaliers has 1. Davis flirting with a triple double right now: 18pts, 7assts and 8blks.
