Howard and Asik played a lot of minutes together and they gave the Rockets a great advantage on the boards. McHale flanked them with shooters to counter a Mavs shifting zone.
 
Good game by Francisco Garcia, hit some treys off the bench. I wish him the best of luck for the coming season.
 
Rockets have waived veteran center Marcus Camby. This could be it for Camby.
 
Howard and Asik already reached double figures in rebounding. Both of them combined have notched 32 while the Charlotte Bobcats have 26 as a team.
 
The only reason Bobcats are still within the Rockets reach is because of Harden's poor shooting trend for this game.
 
I hope Omer gets traded this year... I watched the first half of the game, Omer was like an orphan out there... he did excellent job in defense, as usual, collected tough rebounds, but all I saw in highlight today is Howard this Howard that... it's obvious he'll not any credit next to a "superstar" at all...
 
Rockets are 3-0 thanks to the scoring wings of Lin, Harden and Parsons against the Utah Jazz. Howard and Asik are sacrificing points for rebounding and defense.
 
Rockets topple the Raptors in 2OT 110-104. Peculiar that Lin had no assists but was the team's leading scorer with 31 points. Howard with a double double of 18 points and 24 rebounds.
 
Jeremy Lin on fire yet again. He continued his hot-streak since the Raptors game.
 
Linsanity's game got wasted by shoddy defense in the fourth and overtime. Rockets blew it.
 
Rockets holding off the Knicks torrid shooting tonight to escape with a 109-106 win. James Harden and Carmelo Anthony traded baskets down the stretch and they traded free-throws in the precious seconds. Howard nailed two free-throws with under a minute to go, so Hack-A-Howard did not succeed.

James Harden finished with 36 points, Chandler Parsons with 22 points and Jeremy Lin, in his return to MSG had 21 points.
 
Aaron Brooks scoring 21 points tonight, shades of his most improved career year with the Rockets back in 2007-08. Francisco Garcia was also on target. They were teammates last year with the Kings.
 
Horrible shooting by James Harden last night and almost to futility in shooting one's way out of a game slump. That said, injuries are currently stacked against the Rockets.

Also, quite a nostalgia seeing Francisco Garcia playing PG. Brings me back to his Loui days.
 
Terrence Jones is currently having a good game against the Golden State Warriors. Perhaps that shooting four that the Rockets were hoping to find was tucked in Jones all along. That said, Rockets have reportedly opened up trade talks about dealing Omer Asik.
 
After losing Lin against Indiana last week, now Patrick Beverley is out 5-6 weeks due to a fracture on his right hand.
