The Good: Actually simply the best, Durant

The Bad: So called superstars that ignored World Cup.

The Ugly: let's think of something a little more productive that won't start another flame war

The Good: United States of Kevin Durant - not sure this team would have won many crucial games without him

The Bad: Refereeing, Attendance (Turkey won't be hosting another basketball tournament for awhile), Scheduling, USA not playing Spain, Greece, or Serbia in knockout round

The Ugly: Too much Ugly

WC was a disappointment.

The Good: Kevin Durant, I hate to steal answers, but he's unstoppable in FIBA play. The US played hard, were respectful (donkey comment not withstanding), and deserved to win.

The Bad: The attendance, not sure it would have sold out without Turkey in the final. No US/Spain rematch, no US/Brazil rematch, etc etc...

The Ugly: Greece and France trying to get into the easier bracket. Not only did this lead to bad basketball, it's part and part responsible for the above.

The tournament had some fun moments, but compared to the 2008 Olympics ended rather anti climatically.

check this link buddy.

At the closing press conference of the FIBA World Championship FIBA Secretary General and IOC Member Patrick Baumann told media that this edition had been the most successful in the Championship’s 60 year history.

The Good: Durant, Scola, Lith team, Ru team

The Bad: too many B teams, boring final game

The Ugly: USA-Turkey game "discussion" :D

The Good: Durantula taking control, shutting down the haters.

The Bad: The other teams flopping so damn much. Jesus Christ.

The Ugly:Teams losing on purpose or whatever.

The Good - Lithuanian Team
The Bad - Keliza or Pocius or Maciulis. 3 BAD BOYS FFS ! :D
The Ugly - NOTHING :D

the good: durant,leutuainia,turkey,serbia,....
the bad: having too much mediocre teams like lebanon, tunisia,jordan,canada..
the ugly: the fact that usa won the championship using it's c team i mean what the f*** what if lebron, kobe, howard,.......was there it would be too ugly...this champioship is a disgrace

The Good: USA(so called B) Team - They really deserve to win. i was thinking to add Serbia to here but losing the bronze medal game is not a good thing.

The Bad : Greece - Spain - Argentina , we all were expecting better performance from them.

The Ugly : Attendance (excluding Turkey games) - Referee performances and all the superstars who didn't come to Turkey.

THE GOOD: Kevin Durant single handedly stop the Turkish crowd cheering in the finals!:D

THE BAD: About robbing a bank in Lithuania comment by Franchella.

THE UGLY: HATERS with digusting foul mouths in this forum.

no, not haters. euro guys take sport very (to much) serius

The Good - Brazil:
1st. they're not Argentina's shadow anymore
2nd. they showed all their Euro Haters, they are at the same level of the top European teams
3rd. They were the only team who could actually complete against USA

The Bad - either Argentina/Spain's excellent flopping skills or Fran Fraschilla

The Ugly - Turkish fans booing the American Anthem at the Medal Ceremony (very classy)

The Good: Team USA. I'm really happy for this so-called "B-Team". When the superstars went back on their word and left Coach K high and dry, this team worked hard and played the best defense I've seen in a while.

The Bad: Too many phantom touch fouls. I thought FIBA basketball is supposed to be more physical than the NBA?

The Ugly: Too many absentees. Let's face it, no one is really going to take WC as seriously as the Olympics.

They were booing not to the anthem but to politicians that have shown up to the ceremony. You could notice after the anthem people were clapping and ovating.

Lol are you brazilian or something, you were giving them too much undeserved props (yes they are about top 8 team maybe, but from your comments it looked like they are top 2 :D) all the time during the championship

They were not booing anthem, they were booing politicans who left the hall at that time. Notice the booing was short and not during all of the anthem

Ps: what is that fran franchella and what is the robbing the bank comment made by him? :D

I'm not even talking about that. that was way before.

Way after that, when they started playing the Anthem, Turkish fans started booing

the good:
-untypical usa player behavior. they played with so much respect for others and they were acually very happy winig gold medal.
-masters of basketball durant and scola.
-lithuanian basketball pride
-american refs (they let players to play basketball)

the bad:
-basketball is geting uglier evrey year (my apologise to mr. todosic, last surviver of romantic basketball)
-only two true star performaces (scola and durant)
-inconsistant ref creteria (probabley cosed because refs are from difrent fiba zones)
-camear directors or whatever that job is called. they have zero sense for basketball.

the ugley:
-france and greece losing itentionaly
-playing for nt losing more and more value. worst sport in that direction

I am talking about the same. At that moment when Anthem started playing the politicans were going out of the hall.. (Unless somebody who were in the stadium denies it, but it surely looked like that)
