That's it. That's a wrap. We shouldn't play any Eurobasket anymore. Lets just hand it to Spain forever :p

Amazing perseverance, amazing teamwork. Congrats Spanish fans!

About time France moves on from Collet. Couple of successes over the years, but can't help but feel they could have done much better on a few occasions (2022 included). Specially when compared with Spain / Scariolo.

Maybe a surprise on paper, but totally deserved on the court. The best team won the title. Congratulations.

Heh, I guess it should be ok to lose against the champion. Let's see who the MVP is...

Damn... Spain really won it. Once again showing that they are the most dominant basketball powerhouse in Europe.

And the traditional end of summer festivity known as "the beating of the French" has been successfully performed this year. Thanks to everyone involved.

Thanks Espana. I made big money thanks to you! :D

Spain punished two big linups of France very well but the difference was Garuba. What a defense of him! To have such a guy is so precious. His lateral quickness is amazing.

Garuba's passing is so underrated too. Even without three he's money. European Draymond Green.

Lorenzo Browñito got robbed of the MVP there. Too embarrassing I guess.

Willy hernangomez the MVP

Damn I did jinx it...Well half of it is true. Zo Brown is Eurobasket champion. Good enough for me.
I almost had a heart attack when he slipped 2 minutes before end BTW Huertel was right - there was no foul.
Now we will have full team and the guy who has full weight of champion to lead it.
On the other hand, Virtus shares also going up. Scariolo proven that he is very good coach.

I'm already nostalgic for your Papanikolaou posts.

I m waiting g

Totally deserved for Spain. Great coach, Rudy's leadership, winning mentality made up for the lack of individual talent. Also, Lorenzo Brown was instrumental for Spain. They couldn't have done this wothout him. And now they know that Garuba and Diaz are for real for coming years.

Scariolo exposed all French weaknesses. Bad ballhandlers, lack of fundamentals, bigs that can't do much offensively once they are cut off from their guards.

Lorenzo Brown should have been MVP. He basically made Willy's scoring numbers.
