It's baffling to me that at this level of play, players don't know how to set up against a zone defense.

so it is happening :D

but really though, real madrid doesnt have a coach who can make a difference. even last year, they only won at last seconds.

so it is HAPPENING

OK. I admit I underestimated Ataman. He has a vision which happened to be extremely efficient and winnable.

I really want to know under which star Ataman was born. This might be the most amazing EL win of all times.

Who won last year? And btw Hezonja (the worst Real player today) isn't grandpa at all.

I jsut thought Mateo kept three vets too long (second half of 3rd quarter and first half of 4th quarter). Musa had to be more ISO orientated, and Compazzo couldn't run Real which he absolutely had to do.

PAO's guards looked more dynamic.

Real scored 23 points in second half. Completely deserved win for Pao. Real panicked when they felt Pao wasn't going down that easy. Mentality makes wonders.

You win a EL title with Grigonis, Papapetrou and Antetokoumpo. Would you tell this to me at the start of the season I would laugh at your face.

This game was roller coaster..
First quarter was the quarter where PAO opponent scored the most points in entire season, then 3rd quarter was quarter when Real scored the lowest amount of points for entire season.
We defenetly saw duel between two best Euroleague teams.

Congrats to all Panathinaikos fans on this forum!

big congrats to tonia and all other pao fans. omg didnt expect pao to win el this year but i told you tonia :D:D. so happy for you!

Unbelievable.

Congratulations to each one of you PAO fans, long awaited, well deserved. Enjoy :)

Lithuanians knows how to win titles with Greek teams. Couple titles of Gecevicius with Olympiacos, now Grigonis with Panathinaikos :D Anyway, Grigonis has been good for PAO this season, just wasn't all that impactful in playoffs and that happens in deep teams.

Never thought this PAO can be that good. Congrats.

Boys, nice to meet you all because I am going to die tonight or when they return in Athens!

BRO WHAT? HAHA how is this even possible? I still can't believe that we're champions again! Oh my god, so many years of seeing this amazing team struggle to make anything, we're finally back!

I really thought we were going to be good next year but for this year my expectations were kinda low. Unbelievable how Ataman managed to bring this group together and how Sloukas got vindicated for his decision this summer. 31 PIR in the final, I think he deserves to be in the conversation for the Greek greats.

Thanks to all of you for your wishes! I hope we'll have a fun summer <3

Although we disagree in almost everything, I have to give credit to saras (the user here) for his belief since the start of the year. I give credit where credit is due.

Yeah, i agree that 3 vets at the same time is too much, but i also think that the fact that Real completely lost a touch from 3 pt had nothing to do with vets.

What playoffs, what F4 of Jerian Grant. Just give him 500k Euro extra. He deserves it!
