The bucks basically gave boston a championship, shouldn't have let go of jrue holiday

In fairness to Milwaukeee, they shipped Jrue to Portland, perhaps they thought he's going to play for them or will have a buyout and play elsewhere in the West, or maybe even retire. But unknowing to them, here's Brad Stevens swooping down with assets and Timelord as trade baits. Brad is like the modern day Red Auerbach, and Danny Ainge before him with this genius move.

Sidenote: Giannis created a groupchat with some of the Bucks but without Jrue, trying to convince everybody that Lillard will bring them back to the Finals, when words got out that Dame wanted out of Portland, and demanded a trade, preferably to Miami.

Dunno if the numbers work but Suns should have traded for him instead of Beal IMO.

Well at least fat Luka didn't win. That should motivate him to get into shape and cut back on the whining . And maybe play defence too

Yeah, Luka has to get in shape. As for defense, he was playing defense for every round except the Finals.

I'm confident he can get do that and stay focused, considering his mentality.

Not really. He was assigned to Gobert not exactly known for offense. Prior to that he was assigned to Giddy I think. Defense only players will be taken advantaged by Luka. The less defense he needs to do the more he can give on offense. This series proves that a 5 of two way players is the best match up for Luka. Celtics make him work hard on offense without doubling and take advantage of him on defense.

Congrats to the Celtics for the Banner # 18, and nice try - nice effort to the Mavs.

As godly as Luka has been on offense, he's a turnstile in defense, Even if the Celtics arent running PnR and iso vs Luka, their offensive scheme of things and is to attack the side where Luka is. His lack of defense, coupled with his lack of conditioning was exposed. Expect him to emulate what Jokic did to turn his physique around this summer.

Still no love for Kyrie tho. He didnt show up and was never really a factor in the 3 games in Boston. Never mess with the Leprachaun. Karma is a bitch.

Sir Dotch,

you mean that foot thumping antics several years ago?

oh dear...

I like reading this article, I care to share..

I guarantee you guys those quotes will become immortal on all Green fans moving forward.

Tatum and Brown grasped their first Larry O’Brien Trophy after 107 playoff games together, the most for any duo before winning a title.

It took longer than expected, but Tatum said it was part of a process he didn’t fully understand until celebrating postgame.

“Coming up short and having failures makes this moment that much better,” he said. “Because you know what it feels like to lose. You know what it feels like to be on the other side of this and be in the locker room and hearing the other team celebrating, hearing them celebrate on your home floor. That was devastating.

Brown said he’s most proud of how he and Tatum have grown together over the past seven seasons together.

“We’ve been through a lot, the losses, the expectations,” Brown said. “The media have said all different types of things: We can’t play together, we are never going to win. We heard it all. But we just blocked it out, and we just kept going. I trusted him. He trusted me. And we did it together.”

Sir CoJ,

I think idol Klay was born and raised in Bahamas thus having a dual citizenship because of his American mom.

I think it's just a matter of time for his exemption

there's a provision on FIBA's Internal Regulation on Players with Special Cases born and raised from dependent territories .

same thing with Eric Gordon who was also born(?) and raised in the Bahamas during his childhood days.

I think Bahamas already claimed his independence from mainland USA several years ago alongside Virgin Island, Cook Island, Puerto Rico among others.

I think Tatum has found his role in the USA Olympic team. He'll be a good utility guy who does what is needed. Defend, rebound, pass. He'll be fine with it, he was fine with it in the Finals.

Leading candidate is derrick white

I read this too. I think he is a bit short for SG. Mikal Bridges to me fits Kawhi’s defensive profile more. I think they need a defender at the SF position. LBJ and KD are bad perimeter defenders at this point.

I believe that the Celtics, armed with championship experience, are still one of the favorites to win it all alongside Denver Nuggets, Dallas Mavericks, Minnesota Timberwolves and Oklahoma City Thunder. No one in the East can touch Boston, now that the team, especially the Jays, already experiencing how its like to be the champions.

Sir Dotch,

the incident happened in 2021 when his still with the Nets.

honestly I wasn't aware nor watch that game back then

until news about KG and Boston fans who witnessed that antic that resulted to some other activities outside basketball.

I think Shamgod was sober nowadays.

Shamgod? Bro you talking about ex NBA Player God Shamgod, the inventor of the Shamgod cross-over? He is currently serving as one of the Dallas Mavs skill-coaches if am not mistaken

Shamgod is not the inventor of the Shamgod move (he probably came up with the term though).

"El Latigo" Bodiroga popularized it in Europe in the early 90s (and called it Latigo) but he learned it from players way before him. Just like how the eurostep is a very old move even in the Philippines (we used to call it the side-step) and how Ginobili popularized it in the nba. Even the term eurostep is kinda dumb because they attribute it to Ginobili who is Argentinian.

Sir Dotch,

him and Luka are sometimes off

and kudos to coach Jason on how to handle the attitude of those dudes(for now?)

it would be very interesting come 2024-25 season.

that shamgod word was popularly attach to him as far as I know(for now).

The Edmonton Oilers (NHL) just did what people were expecting from the Mavericks, tie the series 3-3

all the momentum now on the Oilers side now

Many times NHL teams come from 0-3 to win a playoff series. For some reason, it is easier on ice than on the hardcourt
