Too many crybabies about the Celtics-Pacers game yesterday. Guess what? These crybabies are overwhelmingly from the Philippines.

Pinoy fans hate the Celtics i guess... Maybe because they beat Kobe, LBJ before and Coach Spo's Miami... Those 3 are beloved by Pinoy fans.. Boston is not a popular team here in the Philippines... Here, they are in level of Atlanta or Kings in terms of popularity, Meanwhile Boston is super popular abroad, especially in US...

Pacers lack the gulang. Jaylen was not whistled for steps which means that the move is legal per the league interpretation. Celtics were able to sold lots of contacts especially on the offensive end because they were iso-heavy yesterday with Tatum, Jaylen, White and Holiday forcing Pacers to commit fouls. Siguro, it helped that they are the home team. However, if the Celtics win convincingly in the remaining games, I hope that the "cooking show" narrative dies down.

Pacers are no saints as well as they get away with lots of travel from Hali and camping on the part of Turner.

That's expected... Only Siakam has championship experience to the Pacers, meanwhile almost all of Celtics players on the team.. already experience this kind of level.. They faced Lebron / Cavs, Giannis / Bucks, Butler / Heat in this level... So they know what they will do.... Experience is the biggest edge of Celtics against Pacers...

No one from the remaining players is even close to Luka's level. Ant and Tatum are Barkley, Karl Malone, KG, Dirk-level superstars.

No love for haliburton and the pacers? Lol

to be fair they overachieved

He's not at that level yet. A tier below Tatum and Ant. Hahahahaha.

Yes, the Pacers overachieved. Injuries helped, but you can't blame them for taking advantage.

Edwards with an MJ-like poster on Gafford. But it is Dallas who is looking good throughout in Game 3.

so, 3-0 for both series, I dont see Minny and Indiana recovering from their respective holes

I can’t recall. But when was the last time the East and West Semis were both in a commanding 3-0 record going into Game 4?

it seems that experience plays a key role why both the Celts and the Mavs enjoys that 3-nil advantage going to their respective G4

in fairness to Minnesota and Indiana, they deserved to be in the finals of their respective conferences but it's very clear that nerves getting in the way when the going gets tough.

that was based on my own personal observation so far.

Well TBH the Pacers overachieved. Reaching the finals is already a great milestone for that team.

The Wolves though. Didn't expect them to get swept or lose 3 straight at least.

Same here, might ask chatgpt later about that

To be fair i thought the dallas-minny series would be a even affair, but yeah despite the 3-0 lead, gamea are pretty close

Boston-Indy on the other hand is a mismatch from the get go

Last Year with Denver and Miami up 3-0 against the Lakers and Celtics respectively

edit: but if were going further before last year, it was in 1957 with Boston playing Syracuse Nationals(Philadelphia 76ers) and St Louis(Atlanta Hawks) against Minneapolis(Los Angeles Lakers)

Sir Weird,

despite being swept by a more experience Celts.

it's no brainer that coach Rick had a right tool to go deeper again next season hoping Hali, PS, MT and the rest of those young guns are healthy along the way.

there's a lot of good prospects on the coming draft without last year's Wemby atmosphere and the Pacers mgmt. should invest on it

same thing on the Knicks side, they've already had the right pieces but should also invest on the coming draft as well.

I hope coach Rick and coach Thibs should be retained.

Luka is just tiers above Antman. Boston- Dallas would be interesting given the subplots (kyrie and Kristaps)

Damn Luka just embarrased the wolves on their own home court

20 first qtr. he says he will bounce back in game 5 because he lack energy last game 4 and he did..

Game was already over at half time, if this Luka shows up at the finals, Boston is in trouble

Boston has the better over all roster but Luka is tiers above Tatum and Brown, should be a good series

Similar to the 1992 and 1993 NBA Finals. Portland and Phoenix had better overall rosters, but Jordan was clear of Drexler and Barkley.

Jrue Holiday might be the key player for Boston and Derrick White... If they can limit Luka and Kyrie's production then they have a chance, Those two should more focus on defense if they want the hang their banner 18 to Garden...

I am a Boston fan. But the way Dallas easily disposed of the T’Wolves scares me.

It will be an exciting matchup in the Finals between Boston and Dallas. No dominant big man in the paint. This will be a fast-paced series with a lot of 3-point shooting.

Also Kyrie is returning to Boston which will be a motivation for him.

Boston in 6 games.
