I find it funny and weird that the favorites before the season, who are also the big tax spenders, are struggling in the playoffs (Clippers, Lakers and Suns)

Age, injuries, imbalanced roster. Big $$ tied to their aging stars. They went all in as they don't really have any choice as their windows are closing.

Lakers extend the series with a 119-108 win

James 30 pts
Davis 25 pts 23 rebounds

Jokic 14 rebounds 33 pts 14 assists

I'm a KD and LBJ fanboy but being a realistic guy it would be a big mountain to climb to reach the 2nd round.

Denver is still the team to beat for these season for as long as those 5 guys The Joker, KCP, MPJ, AG and JM are all healthy it's very difficult.

a DEN vs. MIN is still the best storyline at the West because they had Gobert and KAT to somehow contain a little bit of the Jokeman and Antman vs. Jamal is a dandy of a match-up IMHO.

Hmm those who rendered FIBA duties last summer are having a great season (SGA, Luka and Antman) hope they wont havr wear and tear issues come may

Gentleman's sweep for the Denver-LA series.. another clutch shot by Murray!

It's amazing how many close games the Lakers and Nuggets have had in the past 2 years. Yet in almost all of those close games, the Nuggets come out on top.

When it's close that often, and the Lakers fail almost every time in the last few minutes, that sounds like a coaching issue.

With that said, I do think one of the biggest mistakes the Lakers have made was letting go of Dwight Howard. It was obvious to me that he would have been very useful last year. This year it's only reinforced it to me.

They don't need another star player. They just need someone who is strong and can play solid defense and grab rebounds for 15-20 minutes a game.

Murray's importance is underrated. He's the killer of the team. Jokic is the best player the whole game but hasn't developed a killer instinct (too good naturally, laidback). When it comes to crucial/high pressure moments, Murray is the man willing to put them over the hump.

He's been doing it for years, and the year he missed because of injury shows how they will be without him.

Murray and Jokic is like the modern day Shaq-Kobe or Magic-Kareem

Or probably a little bit of Duncan-Ginobili...he and Manu both so underrated unlike Kobe and Magic. Like Manu, he goes on a whole nother level when the game gets pressure-packed (ultra-competitive) while kind of coasting when games are easy. Also doesn't care much about the limelight.
