This team has realized that it needs to rebuild if they want to content in the teams in asia as their stars Madanly isn't getting any younger

two only one of the so called brasyrians can play for a fiba sanctioned tourney and they are also in 30's

thrid the u18 of syria luckily or not finish third in asian u18 championships so why build a team for them

i know that in 2008 under 18 championships their team finished in third place,, but it is not bad to include madanly because he can contribute on and off the court.. he will be the leader of this team plus guiding the young guns at the same time

As reamily said that our federation are making new team with young players using the team that participated in FIBA U19 Championship. But some sources said that our federation decided to participate with original roster because the U23 team is not ready. The roster include players like Micho,Marcelo Correa,Eder Arujo,Nour Samman,Sari Pappazian and other players. But till now nothing official.

Final Score

Syria 55 - 86 Jordan

Our team traveled to Jordan with only 10 players, mostly the coach used only 7,we accept any result from this team,it is enough to know that that our coach is Hadi Darwich to see these results.

Players were invited on Monday which mean only one week to play together and training.

Also some players aren't chosen due to their performance, they were chosen for other reasons.

According to some sources Micho may not join the team in Beirut because he had some problems with the coach.
