The previous thread already contained too many pages, so discussion may continue here.

Guidelines to follow (props to JPF):

1. keep it clean and polite
2. try to stay away from one lined posts (and "source?", "link?", etc)
3. use edit button, instead of posting 3 messages in 2 minutes
4. read at least some posts before posting your news
5. this thread isn't and never was for euroleague and UC rumours only, but try not to report every single transfer that happened - instead try to judge on which one could be interesting for others.
 
Great signing for Efes !! The only urgent need for Efes was a reliable outside scorer who can also play PG when it is needed. And they managed to purchase the "most suitable man" in Europe for that role.

Now, I think they are only "one tough big man" away from being a serious contender for F4 next year..

Not only great coaches brings you success or F4's in my opinion... Ataman is one of the good coaches in Europe. He was also there in F4 with Efes before and won a European Cup with Siena. At that point, i think Efes's chances could be good enough with Ataman. Of course if he spends the money to the right places and if he creates a good team chemistry.

I think it will be Zisis who will be replaced by Ponkrashov.. At least that should be their plan, because Holden has a Russian passport and is a much more significant member of the team to be replaced by basically a prospect player.. The difference in money is not that big anyway (I think Zisis would be getting 1,3mil Euros and Holden 1,85mil..) so bringing Ponkrashov instead of the Greek would still mean cutting back a bit on the budget (especially if some other team is willing to pay a few hundred thousand Euros for Zisis..). Plus, I had predicted this specific change a few weeks ago, so I'd like to be proven right..:D

No way. A little bit above million euros.

Anyway, according to http://www.sport24.gr/html/ent/178/ent.299178.asp (which apparently has to be reproduction from spanish media), Michael will sign for Barcelona. He has been offered a two year deal and, as he has confessed to some people of his close circle, he is really close to accepting it. Barca first examined the cases of Siskauskas and Mumbru, but the first is too expensive and Real has decided to resign with the latter..

Türk Telekom signed veteran center Hüseyin Beşok from Galatasaray and young and talent pg Soner Senturk from Darussafaka. Especially Soner great transfer for the Ankara team.
