But he has to be the worst player in NBA out of the group which averaged 20 pts/10 assists.
New York doing okay at the moment, which is another proof that not only you don't need Marbury to win, but even more - you need him not playing to win!!!
batgirl said:Wait, what did Marbury done to get the ire of the new coach?.
Is he being punish because of the past issue, if this is the case then the new coach is wrong. From what I've read Marbury always gets the blame when his team is struggling because he's not a real superstar like Jordan and the others are, he does'nt command respect from the coaches, in turn Marbury resented them. Marbury has'nt done anything as far as this present situation in New York is concerned.
Priceless.Stephon Marbury is growing tired of the inactive life. He wants to play basketball and knows a place where the coach loves him, the fans adore him and the players believe in him.
And since Mike D'Antoni has buried Marbury on the Knicks bench, the veteran point guard said Thursday that he might train with the boy's basketball team at Brooklyn's Abraham Lincoln High School to maintain his conditioning and keep his game sharp.
"I think I'm going to start practicing with my high school team," Marbury said after practice Thursday in Greenburgh. "Seriously. I've already called the coach to see if I can run up and down with the guys and at the same time help teach the younger guys the NBA game."
