Hmm It is obvious he will not play all season. My bet is that vs Jilin Northeast Tigers will be his last game. Who thinks differently?

kings do u have a link of a video even if its in chinese, it would be great to see his highlights

Marbury gave the ball up to Maurice Taylor on the last shot...

Some grainy video of the last second shot.

Ow! ouch!

In PBA, there were good or great imports or ex-NBA stars in 80's and 90's but now they're streetballers , D-leaguer players too poor for us. In CBA have unknown imports in the past but now they have great imports like Marbury and Taylor!

Is that Mo Taylor of University of Michigan, ex-NBA fame? Wow! I remember meeting this guy when he was a high school senior at the 1994 Magic Johnson Roundball Classic at the Palace. I still have the original program with his signature on it buried somewhere in my closet. It just goes to show, life can take you to unexpected places.

Wow I guess Stephon is afraid of his management, maybe punishments in China are worse :) He was only against 2 players and didn't shoot! Wow. Nice song in the video :)

Starbury giving up the ball instead of taking the shot is so un-Starbury :p
He should use this song to promote his shoe brand in China :D

I heard Marbury could be a back up guard in the CBA All-star game.

Wow, really!? Good for him! I'm glad that he's playing very successfully in China. I don't like him very much, but I always like to see players doing well.

Being in the ASG just means you got the popularity. Marbury is not starting 'cuz his name wasn't even on the ballot, and honestly there are imports more deserving (i.e. Andre Emmett) but CBA can do whatever they want in a game that has become jokes anyways. I don't think there is any doubt that Marbury is the most popular import this season.

Marbury is playing well though, just not enough to lead his crap team to the playoffs like he intended. But expect to see him in China next season :D

Marbury said he'll come back to China next year, unless he gets an NBA offer. BTW, he just won the MVP of the CBA All-Star Game. He'll leave China tomorrow.

I don't know the chances of Marbury being signed by a contender or even an NBA team on rebuilding mode as there are loads of young talented PG at this years rookie draft and another platoon of young point guards are due in this years draft.

Still, I'm happy for Marbury to rekindle with basketball.

He probably makes more promoting shoes over there than a cheap NBA contract could provide. Plus he's lost a step... well a few. He should stay in China.

He should stay in China.
He plans to...

"I'm going to have to weigh my options as far as what I'm going to do, but I'm looking forward to doing so (coming back)," he said.

"It's a great opportunity to play basketball in the CBA. I think it has been a great experience, so I have to evaluate it with my wife, see what my kids think about the situation.

"It might be a situation where, you know, I might be here for a couple of years and my family might have to move here. So there is a lot to think about."

.....

"They respect me because of what I do on the court," he said.

"People wrote so many things back at home. It is political back at home. Coming here, people really understand who I am as a basketball player and a person... they've had an opportunity to see for themselves."

in that photo with cheerleaders i wonder how many he got fun with?
