that guy is scary. for me he is the best PF in Asia right now. He has very good positioning and loads of hustle

In my opinion, prime Kelly Williams and current Marc Pingris are way better compared to Oh Se-Keun. I think Yi Jianlian is still the best PF at the moment.
 
Korea lost to the Tall Blacks 71-70 as that basket by Cho Sung-Min was waived off. The release was too late. Great game in all. Tall Blacks won the best of 5 against Korea 3-2.

Cho Sung-Min was on target tonight but when the shot that really could have won it, did not count. Very ironic ending.

If I recall correctly, wasn't Kirk Penny the one who hit the final three (which shouldn't have counted) to win the game in the closing seconds? Prior to the play, Cho Sung Min was not involved in the action, as Yang Dong Geun was at the FT line, going 1 for 2.

Anyway, I was very impressed with how the Koreans rallied around their shooters and found a way to come back into the game. Although our bigs played a very physical game against the NZ front court, we need to be more tenacious when going for the loose balls. Overall, I was very impressed and have high hopes for the team in the World Cup. Fight on.
 
The team has a good rotation when it comes to the bigmen:

Kim Jong-Kyu / Lee Jong-Hyun
Kim Joo-Sung / Oh Se-Keun

They are doing very well without Lee Seung-Jun too. Kim Jong-Kyu has improved his blocking skills while Lee Jong-Hyun is learning to score without posting up; by means of catching the ball in motion.

SG - Cho Sung-Min, Heo Il-Young
SF - Moon Tae-Jong, Yang Hee-Jong
PF - Kim Joo-Sung, Oh Se-Keun
C - Kim Jong-Kyu, Lee Jong-Hyun

Chan-Hee and Sun-Hyung also plays shooting guard minutes depending on Yoo Jae-Hak's call. Moon Tae-Jong can also be counted on to play either SF or SG. PFs and Cs are inter-changeable in the current setup.

this is deeper than the Philippines' roster. Looking forward to Park Chan-hee vs Jayson Castro William in Asiad.

Korea has possibility of beating more than one team in their group.
 
Kim Tae-Sol played for Anyang KGC last season and his stats should be there in the team's stats section.

English name is different. Kim Tae Sool or Kim Tae Sul.

Kim Tae Sool will play KCC Egis in 2014-15 season.
 
Yoo Jae-Hak was interviewed by MBC Sports this morning during team training about the national team skipping the Jones Cup [8-17] this year. Yoo said that skipping the world cup is more of an insurance that the team is not burned out prior to the world cup and Asian games campaign. Asked about the chances of Ulsan, Yoo said that he is not even thinking about his club team.

Which is true in the words of Yoo Jae-Hak. The team is bound to fly to Spain in the 20th of August and had they participated, they would have only two days before they embark to Spain. Korea declared its 12 man squad much earlier than expected. Had they participated in the Jones Cup again, Yoo would have bought an additional 3 to 4 players as insurance against injuries and fatigue. Along the way, he would have to cut those players to name a 12 man squad before the Spain trip.

That would be a good match. Plus the Phil team has a new additional PG. Paul Lee. That one will give the position a different look.;););)

No. He's not naturalized player. Maybe, eurobasket.com's mistake.
South Korea does not allow dual citizenship except for special naturalization.

Jarod stevenson will play world cup & asian game.
