How we will upset or best shot at Australia in Asia Pacific.. tactics..
 
Congrats to Srle, coach Z, Obina, Sashx and the rest of Serbian posters. After backing up the '14 final appearance with another you are back where you rightfully belong next to the USA as the world's best.

This is the best game by Serbia since 2001 Eurobasket tournament. That team was extremely dominant and just crushed it on both sides of the floor. 2002 was a big success of course, but we did play quite sloppy bball and turned it on when it mattered. This is on the level of greatness, truly amazing performance.

Now it's time for a nice rest by the guys and they are entering the final vs USA, pressure is off pretty much. Let them play their hearts out for their country and whatever happens I am happy. This is a great result for us.

You never know and with Teodosic you have the key ingredient. Look at Previous USA losses, '04 Jasikevicius, '04 Ginobili,
'04 Arroyo, '06 Greek trio. You need phenomenal backcourt play to upset USA so you have a shot.
 
Australia which had been the most consistent team neglected from the 1st quarter and paid dearly, as we have said in this basket elite which loosens get beaten and that is what is happening, Also noteworthy is the excellent defense that Serbia is applying to Australia I leave in 14 in the first half

Thank you! I can only say that I'm so very proud of our boys for showing up here, showing up better than I could have hoped for. They basically did to Australia the same thing Lithuania did to them last year in Eurobasket semis, best defensive job I've ever seen from them by far. Now if they could repeat that and dont lose by a large margin in finals - its gonna be great. I'm not gonna expect a win, definitely gonna hope for it, but everyone should be more than happy with silver here, considering how annoyed we were with Boban thing and hopeless after Bjelica dropped out too.
Congrats to Australia for probably best tournament they ever had, don't let this get you down and hope your team learns from it, like our apparently did from the bitter past. I'll be rooting for the Boomers to win that bronze medal, you deserve it.

Macvan is X factor, depends on the gameplan. He could be a nothing, but if Aussies try to force a 2 big lineup Bogut and Baynes at the same time then we will see a lot of Raduljica-Macvan, Jokic-Macvan and Raduljica - Jokic time so he could be a factor. This is all depending on the gameplan from both sides. Taking all that into account I would go with Markovic.

Another bad night for the Interbasket Teodosic haters! It has been a grim few months for them. :D He was awesome again and it's cool reading some of his Euroleague rivals fanboying over him on twitter. :)

Looking forward to Sunday...
 
Few things -
To say that two best teams are in the finals is a little bit of the stretch .
I mean Serbia went from the group with 2-3 record , won by 3 in QF and managed to avoid Spain in semis ,whom I would put arguably above Serbs in terms of overall quality for this tournament .
Having said that - Serbia totally outclassed Australia .
Referees did a very good job ,in my opinion .I did not see any butchering or any preferential treatment for one side over another .
All Serbs had to do is just to win when it mattered .They did ,they are in finals . End of the story .

The difference is Serbia had actually played great in this game and given their all. And if their players didn't play well or play their best, they would be called out by their fellow countrymen or their media. Meanwhile ours can play like crap and not care or are even proud of it and still get praise by our media.

Gotta give it to Teodosic he came out aggressive looking to score and did. Only had 1 assist at the half. Second half went back to his traditional role of playmaking and creating for others. That's what the greats do they pick their spots and i feel Teodosic with his hot start set the tone that this game would be different than the preliminary game.

It was good to see considering he hadn't been shooting as well as he can do prior to this game. What a joy to watch though.
