Rematch from preliminary match..

will boomers win the 2nd game against serbia or serbia will revenge their loss to boomers?

I like Serbia in the rematch. Teodosic will redeem himself after getting abused by the Australian guards.
Serbia in a tight one.

I think the problem is Mills is an offensive player somehow Milos would defend either Delly and Patty so really Jovic and Markovic to play their finest game and Jokic to mature fast against Sheamus and the gang..

I think Bjelica closing abilities will be missed form hereon as they need to Bogdanovic to step up as part of their growing process..

Add a pool, i really have no idea what will happen here

- poll added. - Levenspiel

To be fair I think Australia will control this game, they have s deeper team talent wise then Serbia. Serbia were a tough game in the pools, but I expect the Australian bigs to dominate, better ball movement. Serbia are dengours from 3 point land, but they have too many down periods.

Reduljica is a beast to be honest I see him as a genuine threat down low. He should have an nba team

I think you actually got almost everything opposite :D :D :D

Aussies have a better starting five, but we have a deeper rotation of 10 players that actively play and contribute. So I would give us an edge in depth, but you have it with the starters.

In terms of ball movement, we are by far the best team and we are a mediocre shooting team from outside. You have good ball movement, but you are deadly from 3pt. You are also a bit tougher than us physically.

You did get one thing right, the key to the game will be Raduljica - Bogut dogfight :D

I agree 100% with you. I say Serbia will win this match.

Something weird is happening with the Australian mentality. Modesty and hard work has been the basis of a lot of Australia's sporting success for a long time. With Australia achieving so much sporting success expectations and arrogance has risen a lot. Now when success isn't achieved Australians are becoming sore losers. In mens basketball though its really working out for Australia combining real talent with work ethic and confidence. Apart from Mills and Dellavedova though I hate this Australian team. Bogut, Baynes, Ingles... arrogant %##&-%$#-'s I can't stand the vibe of most if Australias players. I really want Serbia to beat them and there is a good chance. Will be amazing to see them brought back to earth. Imagine women and mens basketball teams both dropped by Serbia. Maybe they will take notice.

Serbia had the simplest path to semis ever: they just beat the two worst teams in the competition (China and Venezuela) to reach QF, then had one of the easiest match-ups from group B in Croatia. Australia has proved to be much better up to this point. But you never know.

I think it will definitely be closer than the first game, but so long as Australia don't get swelled heads over the last few blowouts they've had I believe they should take this.

There is no question in my mind that Australia is the better team. After all, they did win the first game by 15. However, I do have a concern about Australia's fitness. Mills and Delly are career high-energy backups. Bogut is a 20 minute per game NBA player at most. I expect a closer game than the first one.

The final score of that game is completely unrealistic compared to the strength of the teams. The game was close and very tight and it went from a 1 or 2 possession game to +15 in last two minutes where we collapsed. The gap in quality is very, very small. It will be up to who plays better and has a better game plan.

Australia is a favorite but we already played tough game against them.

IMO without Bjelica and Boban we have a great result, even if we lose this one.

its all true, but never underestimate heart of champion.. ;)
for me it's 50-50 game

You actually sound arrogant my friend, way to generalise lol. Are you Australian or just an Australian hater lol. Australian sporting culture has always been brutal, we expect successs we always have, that's why we over achieve a lot in all sports, we have a sporting and competitive culture. If you can't handle it well.. Follow the French team lol

Bogut's double foul really hurt the Aussie's. He was in foul trouble most of the game. With Bogut limited, Raduljica looked like Charley Barkley. I would be very surprised if he repeated that performance.

At the same time, it's hard to imagine Delly repeated his performance in that game. I'm not sure anyone has played a better game in this tournament.

Regardless of who wins, I expected a good game.

And people will say serbia had the simpliest path to finals ever by beating Australia and again simpliest path to Olympic Gold by beating an incomplete and disorganized us team
