my wish for spanish friends for sunday's final. the whole world will be happy if we watch the remake of that

Sara, stop embarrasing yourself. The Euroleague members know your 'problems', dont show that 'problems' worldwide.

All of you that are talking about flopping. It is always the same, you do not see others fault. If you are rooting against Spain you will see floaping every were. And if it is true... come on and learn how to flop.
hey, this is true, and I'm aware of it myself; you tend to see only one side... so I'm not talking about flopping on this game, but some of your players made a secondary career out of flopping mate... they will be forever remembered even though it's not the case any more.

Best comment I've read about this game: "Spain's resiliency is awesome. They could go on for 6 overtimes and still be focused".

You know the stupid MCU Captain America's catchprase? "I can do this all day"? That was the main advantage for Spain in this game. Been here, done that, ten times over. All pressure is on you. Australia was the better team today and still lost because they couldn't manage the pressure at the end of regulation and overtime.

That call on Bogut was really bad in an otherwise what i thought was a decently called game. With so much flopping and contact going on i didnt feel the refs favored anyone particularly. But yeah that was a bad call and even though it was followed by an equally soft foul on Mills you cant say they made up for it,as Australia with the ball up one and 8 secs remaining would have a huge advantage

Otherwise Australia have themselves to blame.Ingles was absolutely horrible.Except for a few passes he wasnt even looking to shoot and when he did he bricked everything.Delladova same.Baynes,worthless.New Zalgiris star was invisible. At one point they realised only Mills was a threat and they were sending triple doubles over him.

you can not deny the fact that when the game was on the line ref calls favoured Spain and not Australia.
again.
or maybe you can and will.
it's Aussies fault that they allowed it to come that, they should have known that in a tight game refs favour ones who pay more.

Usually always losers complain about referees. Those who lose. Instead of facing that they lose and try harder next time.

Oh, come on. Mills was awarded two free throws to win the game with 4 seconds on the clock. Seriously, your conspiracy theory doesn't fly.

I will always respect Greece as it´s a "basketball country" but this behaviour is quite difficult to understand. We have never been rivals (just 2-3 years around 2006).

I could understand this from French people, Serbian people, but ... Greece, oh man!

Its Saras, the only PAO fan here who agrees with Giannakopoulos. That behaviour on him it is normal.

Heartbreak again for Australia, I'm hoping (no offense to the Argentina/France loser) that they can bounce back and medal at least.

Wouldn't mind a France/Spain final, that'd certainly be another chapter in their rivalry.

Dude Patty Mills played the whole competition as a starter. Not Lull. He cannot be as tired as Mills.

If someone doesn't like the behavior or character of Spanish players this is one thing but to say that refs one this thing is rather unbelievable. This is a great group that absolutely deserved to win it all this year and they most probably will. Another show that defense, tactical discipline and a true floor general (eventhough many laughed on him all the time), veteran leaders and clear defined roles are everything in such a tournament. Refs...lol Incredible. Always from the same directions by the way.

What a game . Congrats to Spain. Crushing lost For Australia. Again after such lost big chances no medals for australia again....

does this help you?

Spain is a mini USA. With all their success it’s expected for everyone to nitpick and come after them about every little play.
It comes with the territory. I had no problem with the officiating in this game.

You simply can't ride one player like that for two weeks. He was totally spent well before the second overtime, and no one else stepped up to the plate. My guess is they will address that in Tokio bringing some more ballhandlers. Ben Simmons maybe? This won't be the last chapter in the Australia - Spain saga.

If Ingles doesn´t help Mills needs to keep on playing 1vs1 and running the whole time to play his catch and shoot. This works for 40min but 48 is a lot.

It´s not Mills fault at all.

as for the heavy minutes; Spain's "old boys", Rudy & Gasol each played for 39 mins today.

That can be a factor for the final game. But so far, our "load management" has worked fine. Let's see how many minutes Gobert and Scola play today.

btw, I saw this on twitter :)

@OlgunUluc
An emotional but measured Luc Longley, after Australia’s loss: “Spain gets kissed on the dick by the basketball gods every time we play them.”
