SEMI finals: China vs Lebanon

I think the other SEMI final, Iran vs Jordan would be more interesting. I am expecting a Jordan lead with 5 to 10 points in the 4th quarter and a waving elbow causes a fight...
For China vs Lebanon, China wins again.

1.Lebanon is tired after tonight's game.
2.The Spainish referee that is obviously on the Lebanon's side is not likely to officiate China Vs Lebanon again.
3.Lebanon is scouted this game.

China should win this game.Last time China lead Lebanon by about 10 for nearly the whole game,but lost focuse in the last 4 minutes.This time it will not happen again.

Hopefully, but it s a clear win to china.
We re not hoping to win , but hopefully we ll deliver a good matchup for china, to go out with honor.
 
We will give it our all, you can be sure about this. We won't win though,

When was the last time the Chinese actually lost a match in the Championships? Ignoring the last tournament where they sent a B team of course.
 
Today we played bad but we win ( this time rony was our rescuer, he was the best )... alot turnovers especially in the last 3 minutes when we had a 12 points lead :S ba l 7amdella we won..
Against China we must play alot better, Good defence and team work ( not the way we played against Korea ) we must concentrate and shoot the best shots ... i hope Vroman, Matt and Fadi all play well cuz we need them, and all the players alsoi like ali, rony and brian.... Hope that we will be lucky in the game also cuz luck is always important... Goooo Lebanon:D we can win China but we must give our BEST :D:D

If china will ever lose it will be on Lebanese hands cuz in the past 8 years Only lebanon was giving china hard times and tomorrow will be the toughest match for china cuz we don't have anything to lose we are playing against the best team in asia and the presure is on them not us so i think we have a good chance to win if we played well :D:D

nah.. the other semifinal game is more interesting than this one.. China by 10 pts just to be conservative.

Not unless Lebanon change overnight and put some team play in their game which is basically close to impossible.
 
i think lebanon today, like china, wasent playing full power so as not to get scouted by the chinese.
anyways i expect a thrilling lebanese win tommorow ;)

lebanon has all the players and tools to beat china
just hang around and in the fourth quarter let your bigs pound them inside
aside from Yi their bigs are not as athletic as lebanons
ferji, kahtib will be shooting the 3s, vroman will pound it inside
good defense against the big shooters will also be key

china in asia is like usa in the world cup a few yrs ago in 2002 when it thought it was invincible until some1 beat them and than they kept losing cuz the other teams knew usa was beatable :p....leb will beat them 2morrow which will break their winstreak and their invincibility ....leb already broke the chinese mental block when they lost by only 3 a few days ago , after that jordan lost by only 6 so hopefully 2morrow will be that day it is very possible if we sit fadi on the bench he can play as a 6th man andplay around 15 min cuz he is bad for the chemistry of the team ...2day when he went out we turned a 48-38 against us to a 60-50 for us and against china when he went out with 5 fouls we cut the deficit the last few minutes from 10 to 3 and i know everyone likes him but this is all common sense ....

Man.you maybe joking...

China lost to Saudi Arab in 1993(still win the Champion though)
lost to Korea in 1997
lost to Korea in 2002

But China still dominate Asia desptie the losses...

Honestly I don't think you will win China in this tournament.

But in 2010 Asia Games,It's almost certain that China will lose the Champion unless hiring a much better coach ,because the NBA players will be absent

After that you will have no chance again...because in 2011 ABC both Yao and Yi will play to assure the only slot for Olympic.

Then in 2013,the new generation of China should have grown up.
 
Tommorow the lebanese have a last chance to make the chinese dragon bow to the lebanese phoenix.

u missed rony fahed in ur post who was the decisive factor in this game. not to forget that he led us to the wc in 2001 and 2005 semi finals.in 2005 we were losing to quatar until he started pounding them with his threes in the last minutes which made us win by 4.hats off rony fahed ur one hell of a player.
