Casio continuing to play well. Good reads on the pick and rolls.

Nice alley oop dunks by Japeth, too.

tough loss for SMART GILAS :(

But the game showed the guys that even without CJ they have a chance to win. The needs to learn to protect their lead and have a killer instinct.

CJ did not play as he injured his ankle in practice. Greg suited-up but he was not to fielded-in as he arrived from Cebu only yesterday morning.

For those asking why on certain games Coach does not call timeouts, well on FIBA International Games, you do not have the benefit of so much timeouts that we have at the PBA or even at our Amateur Leagues. Over here we have timeouts which were actually not called by either of the teams as said timeouts are just charged to the teams coz the TV Coverage needs a station break and has to show certain commercials of the TV Advertisers. At FIBA, more frequently, the team needs to solve certain situations by themselves while on court.

I think they're improving and even though the games doesn't count for Gilas it was a very serious game.I've noticed that Al Husseini has cut off some weight but he still needs to improve on his cardios for one point of the game he went on the floor and get back on the other end very slowly (it's obvious that he was gassed out).I've noticed that he can't jump.Ballesteros looks a little bigger than he was during his College days.At 6 foot 8 he has to learn more offensive moves and he'll be a hell of a different player.

Its good to see that our guys are improving, especially their outside shooting. The Bigs are also improving, but they have yet to assert their selves more on the court defensively and offensively.

Lost P500 just now because of Alaska's and Gilas' loss.

I cant watch Pac vs Cotto live now. damn it. hahaha

oh God! I know this is off topic but Z Gorres (31-2-1, 17Kos) is in a coma right now after his bout against Melendez.

Please God help him!!! your prayers are needed guys. please...!!! (he's one of my fave boxers)

It is medically induced so he can get back. Be afraid if it was not medically induced. The pressure has been relieved, they need more tests. However, i doubt if Z can still fight. Im praying he can.

wwwwwwhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaatttt!!!!!!!!!!<for z gorres>

prayers, prayers....
grabeh naman

Referree Bayless stop the fight in 12 RD and Manny Pacquiao makes history by being the first boxer to win the seven title in seven different division...

Mabuhay Ka Pacquiao...Mabuhay ang Pilipinas!

it does not mean just because you are bigger and stronger is that you are better .... Speed could be the major difference.

Manny Pacquiao showed it .... Hope the Philippine National Basketball teams would also also show it too.

I am wishing that Smart Gilas will also reach the level of success in sports that Manny Pacquiao is in right now.
