Czech team is far from a bad one, apart from that collapse against Latvia's zone defense they've been one of the most impressive teams in group D. Lithuania is coming from a series of games that didn't exactly go as expected. Their hands will be full trying to defend Satoransky and Vesely, while those two will need some better help from their teamates than they received so far.

I believe for us it will be easier game than versus estonia firstly because of psichology,we know we quolified to france stage already.But we badly strugling offensively and nobody knows what Lithuania team will show up...We played 3 very bad games and one versus argubly strongest team latvia we played normal game.Nobody yet knows will Valanciunas will able to play or not...nobody from players,coaches could answer what is happening after this game in interviews...why team is not finding any game offensively...We still can win a group,but something isnt working badly...Many questions than have no answers.This game can go both ways .Either way in 1/8 versus Slovenia/Georgia we will have our chances....

But from interviews from players all faces were very dull,those faces were looking like they just lost close 1/4 game...We just need to find away how to wake up this team,WE ARE STILL STANDING,we didnt lost a war yet,but they looked like they did already... Not good aura in Lithuania camp...

You played 3 bad games and one half of good defense. If you think the performance vs Latvia was a complete game, you are wrong. Offense even then looked bad. In general you still haven't played well in any of the games.

What defense? I saw 40 times Estonia found open shoots and they were rodeoing in your paint. If they were an average team they could easily have scored 20 more points

The teams you were playing the defense was extremely easy to play. The teams you will play in the knockout, not so much.

Fact is every each one of us know we are better then this. So improvement is not needed in Skill, it is needed psychologically. Something that Kazlauskas with the players needs to work on. He said in the interview after Estonia '' We are a family we need to talk to each other and express ourselves '' some players are having personal issues maybe they don't like Kazlauskas schemes . Who knows. But once again I thing we will win against Czech Republic. This match could turn again into disaster with last minute drama or the awaking maybe of the team.

What are you talking about? Ddid you even watch the damn game agaoisnt estonia? Estonia were shooting wide open. Hell there were at least 5 times when they missed wide open under the basket even.

Thats not defense. Thats just luck that they were missing those.

This game was emocional and our players were in shock mood(like bosnia 2013,australia 2014),but overall our defence was solid.Yeah we lost player their and their because their are small team hard to catch all of them every time,but overall we still were doing defensive stops.Even last 3minutes,we stopped them,they wasnt getting good shots in last 3 minutes or in the 3querter when we got 10pts lead.Thats why we won last 3minutes 8-0,only because of defence.The only thing i like about this team in this group is defence,nothing more.Defence was solid overall in this 4 games.Those belgium,estonian,latvians all of them hard to guard firstly because all 5 players are shooting 3pointers...

I know everyone are in emotions and not happy with our team and so on ,but this team what need now is support,not what our media is doing...and our fans in arena is not right putting fingers in middle of the fight...WE dindt lost anything yet,but with this pressure we are putting on this team even after win ...they will lose...leave that team alone and find something good to wright.Everything is negative.Our team is feeling that too,nobody in our team wants to lose,but sometimes teams cant find their game.But good damm we win today ,we still can finish the job,win the group ! that would be max what we could achieve in riga anyway.

If you'll find me a team that don't allow oponent few open shots in 40 minutes, when we will consider your opinion in this matter. And yes... Estonia shot 53 times +16 Ft so totaly about 60 shots and 40 of them were open... That says all about your vision. It's true. He missed morning practise today, will be game-time decision. Anyway after such illness it's hard to expect lot of contribution from him

That's like the worst possible time for Valančiūnas to get sick... He is pretty much the only reliable option in poor Lithuanian offence, besides Mačiulis and sometimes Jankūnas, even though he was pretty invisible yesterday. I find Czech Republic to be quite similar to Lithuania - defence is the biggest part of both teams' game, both teams have strong front line players, namely Valančiūnas (if able to play today) and Vesely. If Valančiūnas plays today and is in a good enough shape, I believe it should be easier for Lithuanians to win, simply because Czechs are not mostly perimeter plays as Belgium and Estonia were, and Liths always have problems playing against teams like that. Anyways, it is pretty much a do or die situation, because I am not confident Lithuania can advance from the round of 16 if they do not get the 1st place in group.

Satoransky vs Kalnietis will be a key matchup since a sick JV won't be able to help too much. Vesely is on a roll and defensively will be able to handle a lot.

If Kalnietis is able to create well, you have a strong chance. On the other hand, I see the Czechs winning this.

Someone needs to tell that that its not bees and roses... In fact I think our media is too impotent and dont ask real spikey questions. instead they ask the usual ones and Kazlauskas and co always repeat the same "We will take notes and will improve in the future". But they were talking the same during friendlies and are talking the same now game after game. It doesnt seem like they themselves know what their problem is. And their problem is Kalnietis poor defense after which all our defense collapse way too often, our problem is lack of 3pt threat, our problem is our playmakers not being able to dribble under defensive pressure, our problem is guards not helping with rebounds, our problem is our bigs not setting proper screens, our problem is that we lack of cutters (which again is connected to the lack of 3pt threat), our problems are bigs not giving a fast first pass...

But our media never asks them that.. instead they ask "Hows the mood?". Fuck the mood, mood its not problem, problems are much deeper than you can cure with good mood
