wawa nanam si pacquiao below the belt na comments ng iba:o personally, i thought he carried himself remarkably. for a high school graduate.

the media should not make this look like it's a case of ass-kicking made to a "commoner" like pacquiao by a member of the elite like lagman. of course the maleducated masses will just rally behind their kind (pacquiao). the next thing you know we'll have another erap seated in the heart of mendiola in the future.

RH advocate accuses Pro-Life volunteer of assault

05/25/2011 | 04:24 PM

A supporter of the controversial Reproductive Health (RH) bill on Wednesday accused a former senatorial candidate opposing the measure of assaulting him during debates on the proposed legislation in the House of Representatives on Tuesday.

Filipino Freethinkers advocacy director Kenneth Keng said Ang Kapatiran party senatorial bet and Pro-Life volunteer Rizalito David hit him after arguing on the measure at the House plenary hall’s gallery on Tuesday afternoon.

"Seated and unrestrained, David hit Keng’s camera phone, which was next to Keng’s face, with the back of his hand, sending the camera phone flying into Keng’s glasses," Keng’s group said in a statement Wednesday.

GMA News Online is still trying to get David’s side on the incident.

Pro-Life Philippines said David is only a volunteer and that the group has nothing to do with the former senatorial candidate’s actions.

Keng said David "started to getting angry" when they started discussing the supposedly questionable funding of the RH bill.

David allegedly started talking in a "threatening tone and adversarial choice of words" and even invited to settle the issue outside the session hall with "only the two of them."

After the assault, David supposedly walked out of the session hall and refused to identify himself when asked by Keng's companions.

The Filipino Freethinkers, which identifies itself as "an organization of atheists and freethinkers in the Philippines working for a secular Filipino society promoting reason and science," condemned the incident and described David’s actions as "unacceptable" for a person who once aspired to be a senator. — Andreo Calonzo/RSJ, GMA News

I just caught myself laughing at Carlos Celdran being branded as "Fascist". Does the Ayn Rand follower know that Mussolini's regime sponsored baby-bearing contests to provide more manpower for the Italian war machine?

Well we can laugh at it as much as we want, but I do agree that fascism could be seen on any sides but this time, it's with the proponents of the RH bill.

As for me, I do not support this bill because of these and other things:

1. There are more things needed to be prioritized by this govt to alleviate poverty like education and corruption.most supporters from either sides agrees on the same thing: one must be responsible. They just differ with the 'methods' but both sides have the same goals. And most of these guys on either side does NOT have a formal sex education. But I'm sure that most of them have PROPER education to know what is better for them.

2. I cannot push others regarding my belief in using contraceptives, it's their life and it's their choice anyway. Contraceptives are LEGAL and people already have the CHOICE to use them so there's no need for this bill to give people the CHOICE.

3. It is doomed to fail and will just be a total waste of money if the govt will insist funding contraceptives to the 'needy'. Let's say that the govt's budget can provide only 10 condoms per male, or 20 pills per female for 10 million people monthly. Like what most pro RH bill people say, 'di makapagpigil sa panggigigil' , so giving them that much supply monthly (I wonder if it's probable either) will not be enough to stop their 'panggigigil' and the possibility of impregnating their wives. Unless we 'force' them by the law to undergo permanent contraceptive measures funded by the govt, but then again, 'force' is never an option.

3. We are not overpopulated. Some parts are just congested and actually, our birth rate decrease rate is starting to get alarming, I'll explain it on my next post.

overpopulation myth

overpopulation myth

It's true true, our population is increasing,but until when? We usually don't take in consideration the fertility rate. We're nearing to reach the break-even rate, meaning, the births will just be enough to replace the number of currently living person. Today's fertility rate is a bit higher than 3 for our country compared from the 60s, 70s which was 7 to 8. The magic number is 2.3. And historically for the rest of the world, no country ever recovered yet upon reaching below that number, hence the demographic winter happens to them.

If we still can't grasp computation and logic, imagine this: The force you are giving to a car at first is very strong. Of course, the car will move FARTHER and on a FASTER rate because of that. While moving farther, your force is weakening upto the point that your push is enough to give a force to make the car MOVE FORWARD on a CONSTANT speed rate. BEYOND THAT FORCE, if we still lessen that, the car will start to MOVE FORWARD on a SLOWER rate upto the point of STOPPING.

Here are the variables there:

Force=birthrate,
Speed=Population growth rate, Distance=Population.

That's basically statistics. You can check with the NSO and see that in fact with our growing population, our birth rate is decreasing and 2-3 decades from now, our country's population will start to decline even WITHOUT the RH bill. Overpopulation is in fact a myth.

Hello, I’ve been trying to better understand my ovulation and its timing. I’ve read that some women experience ovulation pain, but I’m a bit confused about the timing. When you feel ovulation pain, does it mean that ovulation has already happened, or is it a sign that it’s about to occur? Is it too late to conceive if the pain has started, or is there still a window of time? I would appreciate any clarification or advice on how to best track this. Thank you!

For more information on this topic, I recommend reading the article at https://femia.health/health-library.../when-you-feel-ovulation-pain-is-it-too-late/. Ovulation pain (or "midcycle pain") can occur immediately before, during, or after ovulation. It is a feeling of pulling or sharp pain in the lower abdomen, and it is associated with the process of the egg being released from the ovary. When you feel ovulation pain, it does not necessarily mean that you have already missed the window for conception. Ovulation usually occurs within 12-24 hours after the egg is released from the ovary, and sperm can remain viable for up to 5 days. So if you feel pain, you still have a chance of successfully conceiving during this period.
