hopefully this one is a little closer. Shame it's the late game, was hoping for some in game commentary on the boards.
 
Apparently this will be the game of the day closed because all the other games the other team had beaten their rivals
 
Like I mentioned yesterday, we are going to pound it inside to get them into foul trouble.

So far, shooting quite bad. Dominating the boards though.
 
Close game ,but ugly as fuck .

Jokic-Raduljica pairing might just work, if Saric is unable to beat Jokic off the dribble. Croatia plays good defense, but Serbia is using thier size advantage on the board for extra possesions.
 
About 202cm i think. Bojan is hot from outside.

Amazing how many missed easy layups for Serbia, shows how nervous players are. They are dominating on the boards though. Croatia doing great job of bottling up Teodosic pick and roll game.
 
Is there no 3 second violation in FIBA? I haven't seen called in the Olympics. If the officials won't call it on Raduljica, then they're never going to call it.
 
Considering that we have missed about 15 layup/tap ins it's good that it is a close game. Bogdanovic is hot like I said, he can drop 30 always that is not the issue. Saric, Hezonja, Simon are all bottled up. Defense is OK. All of their shots have been very, very tough.

Yeah they barely call some right now.However if I remember correctly 3 second violation was called at the OQT.Could be wrong but for some reason I remember us getting this call.


Anyway it's another FIBA try to make the game more familiar to the players.
 
Serbia is by far better team .
They are better playing one on one ,passing the ball ,in offensive rebounding .
Just ... one thing they can not do is to score .
You cant score , you can not win .
 
Seems like we are losing this one... And not because of quality, we are so nervous, too much unforced errors..
 
Should be exciting 2nd half.

Start of the 3rd quarter will say a lot.

One thing to watch is foul trouble of Croatia. They are playing with 8 players basiclly. Ukic and Bilan already with 3.

So far terrific pick and roll defense by Croatia. Teodosic cannot work his usual magic. All passing lines are bottled up.

50-50 game at this point, altrough Serbia has more depth/weapons, 6 point difference is nothing to laugh at in this hard-fought game.
