Just me... plan should be
1. Offer Blatche a contract to prepare 1 full month for 6th window
2. Include Standhardinger in pool for 6th window in case Blatche isn't in shape
3. Replace in Brownlee's name with Kourme for processing of Naturalization via congress, at least we have a player for 2023. And don't need to pay him to train with us (he will be developing in Ateneo for 4 more years!

Interesting if Kouame becomes a naturalized Filipino.

I'm interested to see if UAAP board will allow another foreigner player to play alongside Kouame at the same time, since Kouame is no longer a foreign player haha.

I think the UAAP board or mainly opposing teams can find a reason to block Kourme playing as a local, and that is my implementing the requirment for DOJ clearance, the DOJ clearance may require that not only are you a Filipino citizen but that you acquired you citizenship by normal natural birth, not thru congress , which will make inelgible Kourme as a local in the UAAP

We should have done item 1 and 2 in window 5......but I guess someone was saving money...what makes you think they are now ok with doing that in window 6....oh...maybe they are desperate now.

Yes essentially they are desperate, and the advice recommendation given by Yeng that they can win without Blatche no one will believe. Plus spending now when they have to is at least for 2 games and not just 1.

Agree on all points. On Standhardinger's inclusion despite Blatche already there, that is also one way of sending a message to Blatche that he better takes Gilas training seriously & gets himself in shape or else....

...use your imagination:cool:

why does the name of former LA Lakers Ryan Kelly pop up on youtube saying he is a naturalization candidate?

Which youtube video?
If FIBA allows Clarkson as a local, a Kelly-Clarkson combo would be interesting lol.

man i hope kouame is open for naturalization and becomes naturalized and then we can field him in sea games with edu and kai.

hopefully. btw, ange kouame is an ivorian and ivory coast will play for this year's world cup.

i can see kouame developing like blatche. he has the handles and the length to become another blatche. just needs to work on his range.

Perfect for Gilas...

honestly when we were all worried because of the shape andray blatche comes in during qualifiers and this thread got pretty busy, i thought of three players who i thought would be nice for gilas but didnt post it coz I was almost 100% sure we wouldnt be able to get them. Julius Randle, Bobby Portis and this guy Terrence Jones, but now he's here, the chances actually got better, specially since he mentioned he has an 8yr old son who is half pinoy. lol

If it's true that angelo never ever play basketball before he arrived and only learn here in stereo, maybe the fiba can declare him as local like thon maker of austrlia

Thon maker considered by fiba as local australian player even he did not have a single local blood because he is home grown talent, same case with angelo
