Players that we can have naturalized

The only hitch I see with Brownlee is that he's already 30 years old. If only he is around 25, mas ok sana.

Remember that when Marcus Douthit was 34 or 35, Douthit was already washed-up. But of course its case to case basis naman.

I don't think there is any prohibition for naturalizing multiple persons under one bill or law. So I think this is a good time to file another bill to naturalize another or other top naturalization prospect/s (i.e., Austin, Kouame, even Akhuetie). Then consolidate these bills para isahan na lang. Millions of pesos and a lot of time could be save if this is done.

And this current administration truly supports Phi. basketball. We've seen that when SAP Bong Go convinced the SBP to send a basketball team to the Asian Games. We have Bong Go, DFA Sec. Allan Peter Cayetano, Senadors Sonny Angara & Manny Pacquiao & Cong. Robi Puno as vocal supporters of Phi. basketball.

Correct me if I'm wrong guys, but I thought Brownlee wanted to be a Filipino citizen, not necessarily to play for Gilas. I think Mr. Chua cleared that during his interview.

Exactly, his naturalization may not actually be for Gilas purposes. Brownlee was so enamored with the country, the fans and the culture that he wants to be officially Filipino and not necessarily a Gilas.

Well, yaman rin lamang na gusto nyang magpa naturalized Filipino, then why not we make him one of Gilas naturalized player "options"?

Payag kaya si Chualay? Well he will always be an option... Especially again if ipahiram si JF, Japhet and Greg.

Eh di ba sabi ni Chualay, "San Miguel has always lent players for the National team"?

wheeeeeeeeee

What happened to Austin? He is our top prospect. Why is SBP hesitating? He is playing well in Euro league and China. He looks healthy.

I believe he just didn't lived up to that quality naturalized player standard of SBP. He does have pros and cons.

Speaking of SBP, I have a feeling SMC's lobbying JB's naturalization has no coordination with SBP.

If someone was to really lobby JB this would have been a great time also include 1 or 2 prospects so we would have a pool of naturalized players.

Brownlee's naturalization in my opinion would be for SMC's benefit.Don't be shocked if they will lobby for the naturalized player's rule to play as a local in the PBA and it will be granted as usual.Brownlee playing for Gilas? I don't think so, I hope I could be proven wrong.

Sherryl reyes the agent of brownlee always talking to chot and post about JB wants to play for gilas,

It will really bring the fans back from the other teams if the PBA allows it. More teams would be able to compete not just the 2 empires.

that will not happen. it was the case with kuya marcus before and PBA won't definitely allow it

Norman Black 2.0
He'll give us eligible little Brownlee's that's for sure.

Isaiah Austin is Putting Up Big Numbers in China (China NBL, not CBA)

Latest B/R article on PHL Naturalization candidate Isaiah Austin. It's a buyer-beware kinda of deal, but high risk high reward if current performance is the basis.

Based from Asi Taulava's statement.. He still hurt when chot traded him to Coca Cola, now I knew..he couldve brought asi in 2013........

its freaking china nbl where top scirers average 50..he didnt last lobg in SBL and in lebanese league I believe..pang abl lang to...

not to mention he is just getting at around 10 rebounds a game in an 2nd tier Asian level competition. The guy cannot get physical against bigger guys plus the fact that he is literally brittle because of his condition,I'm not saying that he should stop playing but I'm sure we could find guys that is not a medical red card.
