there's actually an afro-american with a Filipina wife who emailed me before and I just remembered now, I'll try to look for that email

His name is Jarrith Johnson, holds 2 passports: Germany and USA. The drawback is he is only 6'7 and plays the 2-3-4, the guy has expressed interest

I recommend this guy, who is on the verge of being cut or making the line-up of the WAS Wizards. Great Hustle, strength and athleticism.

he's a son of former WNBA player pamela "pam" mcgee who have played for the monarchs and sparks . they're the first mother-son to play in pro-basketball in the NBA/WNBA history. and it's hard for him to be cut off from the wizards lineup being a 1st round draftee out of nevada (18th pick overall). he might be send to their nbdl affiliate the dakota wizards to further hone his skills. other NBA/WNBA bloodlines include father-daughter combo of karl malone and cheryl ford. then the first brother sister combo was ime udoka of the spurs and mfon udoka who had played for the comets, sparks, silverstars and sky. then it's followed this year with the tandem of raptor's anthony parker and sparks candace parker (wnba's first rookie-mvp). then this year, it will rudy fernandez of the blazers and sister marta of the sparks' turn to be included in the growing list.

2002-2003 Kevin Martin 6'10
2005-2006 Matt Kitrell 6'9"
2008-2009 Brian Szczepanski 6'11"

last known team he played was WERRIBEE Devils in Australia. I think he is still playing for that team as of today.
he doesn't have a good college stats with the CCSU Blue devils.
For 3 years he played in the team from 2004-2007, he is just averaging a measly 1.1 pts. 1.2 rebs 0.1 asts 0.2 blks 0.1 stls in 64 total games in an average of 7.4 mins per game.
this is not what the philippines wanted to be naturalized.

Philippines Doing a Qatar and Fans Dont Care?

Philippines Doing a Qatar and Fans Dont Care?

Have the Philippines now taking on the example of Qatar having foreigners playing for their national team and claiming them to be natural-born citizens of the land.

Up until now I have not been convinced of the Filipino lineage of Asi Taulava, Mick Pennisi and the citizenship of Danny Seigle is also not established 100%. The technicaliy of Gabe Norwood's citizenship is also questionable.

While Im all up for the Philippines regaining Asian supremacy and recognition at the world basketball stage, let us not do so at the expense of our integrity

This is an old issue man, those players that you have mentioned will soon be retired from playing basketball, saved Gabe Norwood...

As long as they do have the heart to play and represent our country, i don't think that's ok...

Future Naturalized Prospects thread of the RP Team

Future Naturalized Prospects thread of the RP Team

We all know that Even if Marcus Douthit is not anymore getting younger perhaps he would compete in our team for a maximum of 2 FIBA asia if we are lucky
This is a thread dedicated to help the RP team find future naturalization candidates for future RP teams, Yes it is too early for know but we are speaking here about long term.... Who knows we might help the SBP thru your suggestions

I dont know if this thread will be merged to older one. Aha.. future naturalized big guy should be younger of course,,can play stronger low post unlike douthit and shoots well from mid-range too ;)

IMO, Douthit is the best low post player in this fiba-asia. He had monster games, I can't ask for anything more from him.
But yeah, I agree that a younger and faster C would fit our team well because pinoys love to run, and when the C runs, he's usually rewarded.

I mean a stronger low post center..douthit was effectively sealed by hefty big men from china and jordan in the paint

I remember the first naturalization prospect eyed by sbp(eala).
7'3 monster of shot blocks,Keith Closs hehehehe :D
Good thing we ended up with kuya big daddy Douthit.
:D

SBP should now find an able replacement for Douthit. he might not be as good 2-3 years from now.
