If its Tim Cone who will coach Gilas in the next 4 years, I think we'll be seing a new Ginebra head coach soon. Knowing coach Tim, I don't think he's open to the idea of moonlighting as a national team head coach & a PBA team head coach. Coach Tim isn't like Chot Reyes.

If its TIm,Long Hair will make him do both no matter what,he's a yes man after all.

I doubt that bro.
Remember how apprehensive coach Tim was/is about the idea of becoming the Gilas head coach. I think coach Tim was made to agree in accepting the national team head coaching job becoz it was agreed upon between him & SMC people that he will be relieved from Ginebra coaching job once he accepts the Gilas head coaching job.

If PBA and SMC agreed to change the schedule then no need for TC to pick one over the other.

And that change/adjustment of schedule is something PBA & SMC are very very very very difficult to do. Remember, we are talking about a 4-year cycle here.

Will our beloved PBA be willing to adjust its calendar in the next 4 years for the sake of the betterment of Philippine basketball?

Well we're talking about RSA/SMC and Long Hair in charge of even SBP nowadays so the rest of the PBA will just have to take a knee and bow their heads and take up in the a**.

I had no qualms putting the mighty mouse as part of the Senior team, but being the HC "agad-agad", well hold your horses a little bit, let the dude handle be involve in the boys team as the very first foundation because we badly need to establish our grassroots if indeed we are on a 4 year cycle in preparation for 2027 and beyond. if ever hopefully adding Cabaggie in the boys level is also a good move.

I think the biggest challenge is if the dude has a very serious contract in the Kings to avoid any conflicts as far as scheduling are concern.

why do we need a battlecry?

Maybe to draw more fan support. especially if our battlecry would be "Never say die"

I actually like that battlecry as it would draw fan support from the undisputed most popular PBA team of all time.

"Identity" is what is important for teams. Puso was accurate for that Pingris team and he embodied that identity. Then of course media and marketers milked it dry.

Laban Pilipinas! Never Say Die!

Sounds good. Has a nice ring to it.
