Thw Gold medal has really extra meaning to me , yes it truly is if not one of the biggest, the biggest win for Philippine basketball in history ( from a significance standpoint), that's no exaggeration. (Not referring to levels), so let me.just get that out of the way . IVE been raving about the win and celebrating in other channel mediums where my identity is disclosed . So there is no lack of celebration there
IBN isn't really my avenue to openly share what everyone is already saying. And as such people get the impression, I'm just being negative. ( take example the Kai thread, as promising as a prospect he legitimately is , I see.no point in making it a praise thread we can openly send praise personally in other Channels, so I'd rather contribute and limit sharing to real objective steps that are valuable for discussion, ideal development pathways etc . Speaking of which after all is said and done despite the gold which rightfully deserves all praise (period). We were still down by 9 points vs China in 1 minute to go , with 3 Naturalized players and then having zero NPs , and if you look at the rosters , there are certainly more homegrown elite players on their roster than Gilas, so let's not lose sight of the true status of Philippine basketball lack of ability to develop players despite the huge win.
