Imagine people's reaction if admu or up beats gilas. They can't risk that.
similar to the humiliation that BAP got when the national team lost to the paranaque jets, but this time its X10 the humiliation

I hope the Edu vs Kouame fantasy comps gets some clarity now. Edu should be at least AT the level of Kouame, if not better. I tend to believe Edu would be the better FIBA player if only for his ability to defend the PnR effectively in VARIOUS ways. With all these “depth” in the C/F spots (with Kai, Junemar and Japeth creating the logjam), I think Edu should at least be good enough to supplant both Junemar and Japeth for majority of minutes, for us to be really a team capable of pulling an upset. Anything less than that level will only mean we have to deal with extended runs from Junemar and Japeth.
Personally, i’d love to see how this pecking order pans out. This is one of those times you wish Tamayo didn’t pull out. We have a gaping hole on the sf/pf type of players. Malonzo would do, but fromthereon, Dwight would be the next best bet. I really don’t think It’d cut it, esp againg Italy and DR. Fontecchio of Italy would have a field day against us. That’s almost a guarantee. Not saying having the likes of Tamayo and Balti would do the job, but they should be the closest to offering some kind of resistance. Right now, I’m just glad Malonzo sort of developed his 3. At least we can afford to give him extended runs.
When Edu will be use by Chot? He can be a big help for Gilas, Why Chot still using Fajardo and Japeth more?

WC being 1 and half months away , AJs lack of fitness is a huge concern, we can't expect a player to go from zero activity to 100 %. It's kind of a given that if ever AJ makes the team , it wi be a significantly limited role,
back up center (10 mins max)

I definitely would love to see Kai and Edu together again on that hardcourt. Probably one of the biggest what ifs in youth level competitions.Yeah, that's what I'm thinking/expecting. Come to think of it, with Kai as our starting center & Junmar most probably making the team (there's that pressure from the PBA people on coach Chot not to leave out the 6-time PBA MVP), AJ Edu would probably the 3rd man at the 5 position, though AJ can also play the 4.
At the 4 spot, with Carl Tamayo begging off, I expect Japeth to be there & Malonzo.
So the way I see it, our frontline would be made up of Kai, Junmar & AJ Edu at the center spot, and Japeth & Malonzo at the 4 spot.
Good to see our two Gilas veteran Bigs bonding with AJ
So iskati is a shoo in.. almost the 2 shooters zeinab and heading are shoo in..so its really maximizing the talent taht we have in this pool..
Sorry who the heck is Zeinab? I'm to naive of things
wow, this isn't looking good for Gilas, to many Ben Simmons situations LOL, and we're in July !
I mean literally the best 5 , say Heading, Clarkson, Parks , AJ and Kai, haven't even played a single second.
feels like zeinab is holding BRP hostage and we need SBP to ask her to allow Parks to finally join the team. Very Yoko Ono, lol
