Would love to see some of these guys lined up in the next window particularly Newsome, Malonzo, and Adams. New could take Kiefer's spot.

Nu-nu is more a Thirdy replacement. He doesn’t have the Birdman’s playmaking ability.

meralco will probably miss the semis (and even they do, for sure they will miss d finals).

good for gilas. lets hope tnt go all d way to d finals so nenad can coach.(if we beat lebanon, chot will just say its becos of clarkson).

Update: Info on Jayden Harper being eligible is inaccurate as per Enzo Flojo.

What is Lebron Lopez's true position? Small forward, small ball 4? i prefer him to be the 2 guard, but i dont kow if he has the outside shot, or has skills for playmaking.

But they have to stay here to be eligible... Crucial for his exemption is that he (Newsome) was reside here since 2013, So 9 years of staying and playing professional league (PBA) is the basis here... If those you mentioned play overseas after their college careers will be excluded already in eligibility rule... It means, Lucero, Philips bors., etc... should stay here and play in PBA to continue their residency years.....

Yeah but since they are still ineligible they cant go to Korea or Japan just Taiwan. So they can think of it as an investment and if they want the money of a Japan they can once they become FIBA eligible. This on top of representing the country obviously.

Mukhang pumapayag na sa residency with the likes of newsome able to enter

they should. FIFA allows this practice as well.

the possiblity that Viet-Ams and Thai-Ams become local is increasing.

wow, newly-minted eligibles everywhere. now we just have to replace the coach.

Too bad for Choke, he might get the axe this coming August 1 general assembly....There will be members who will ask for the head of Panlileo and Chot...

Fine with me as long as they don’t replace him with someone worse. Yeng, Joke, or Cone just to say the least.

So it means Dierker and Young of Vietnam have a chance to be local since they were playing in VBA since 2016, They have already more than 6 years of residency already in Vietnam... Also have a chance is Kevin Linch of Thailand since he's already with Thailand since 2015... While Lamb and Morgan can't be local because they already played as naturalized player before in one of Asia cup qualifiers for Thailand... They have also Antonio Price but i think he's not reside in Thailand for now, So it will not count.. Although if ABL will be revive again, Thailand team Mono Vampire should hire Antonio Price so that he will have his residency in Thailand while playing PRO ball there... And maybe Biboy Eugenio of Indonesia since he already playing in Indonesia's IBL since 2013....

how about Freddy Goldstein?

Dierker, Young and Christian Juzang can be classified as locals. with these 3 plus either Jaylin Williams or Johnny Juzang, i believe that Vietnam will be a competitive team in FIBA.
