They can assign them as PH team head coach if they want. It is just the local stakeholders dont like being upstaged. Better the team being coached like the Jets by a local than them being coach like an international contender by a foreigner. MVP himself doesnt mind but he needs the PBAs support on this. What's a bigger joke of a franchise, the Jets, the Knicks, or the Kings?

Anyhow, honestly, just use the foreigners as mentors to local coaches, best compromise we have for now. Like Tab was to Sandy and Escueta, and Rajko was to Charles Tiu. Or, use them to test the abilities of the local coaches like Tab vs. Ayo and Tab vs. Goldwin.

I thought Ateneo ball program isnt fully MVP's payroll.. and Tab doesnt want that..

Iba bayad sa Ateneo, iba sa Gilas.. Tab cant be summoned now to coach for Gilas as part of his Ateneo compensation.. Chot is willing.. so SBP chose Chot.. Nenad has no choice since doesnt ahve tab clout so he must caoch like an metro pacific Employee (multiple accounts este teams)..and Tab can get the Gilas pay he wants kaso itsapwera si Nenad (the 2 have benn long together and the one who recruit him)

He should have just stayed in Los Angeles. If all he wanted was to be a celebrity, then LA is a good starting point.

I dont understand. He has a contract but he gets another salary when he coaches for Gilas? And they cant afford him now?

The Browns are actually good now. Not yet a championship contender but already far away from their 0-16 season (and that 2-year stretch when they went 1-31). They even beat the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2020 NFL Wild Card round. Just didn't make it the following season (lost their final game vs the Steelers, which is also Ben Roethlisberger's final game).

Essentially the stakeholders Vargas /SBP and PBa , AL,, do not like Tab and do not want the head coach of Gilas as someone associated to the exodus to foreign leagues ..(whether it's his doing or not )
