They also sold the Purefoods Hotdogs product and franchise? to San Miguel Corporation which makes the PBA SMC (Ginebra San Miguel, San Miguel Beer, Magnolia/Purefoods) vs MVP (Talk N Text, Meralco, NLEX). From what i can gather, they settled into real estate. We basketball fans would welcome new ideas from the Zobels and Ayalas.

Maybe it was the late Zobel who was a PBA fan. Maybe his sons were not.

with roughly a year left before WC23, i hope they let Coach Sandy to take over Coach Tab at ADMU so CTB can focus purely on Gilas. if they change coaching again, tapon na natin all games for July. use it to build a team and a pipeline. the players that was drafted before for Gilas was suppose to be our fillers for games where we have some availabilities. binigay na sa PBA, so wala na. we are left with Tungcab and Navarro. the 4 new draftees, if i understood it correctly, ill stilll be with their PBA teams excep sila yun pwede ihugot. so are we expecting them to practice with PBA teams in the morning and Gilas in the afternoon? nah, let them play in the PBA.
use July to plan a new approach and get new players.
if CCR is still coach, i hope he use mostly the same players in SEA games. because if not, then are we to assume the new players would need more time to assimilate the system? and PBA will be ongoing, so CCR would practice with TNT in the morning then Gilas in the arvo? wala pa din

then Coach Nenad. heck even Coach Jong with Nenad and Coach Ayo. Coach Ayo doesnt seem to be good at 3x3 but has lots of tricks for 5x5. maybe international exposure and learning a bit from Coach Nenad would even make him better.

If we do get Tab back, he should get instructions and directives to set his play style, and ingrain it in the youth setup.
Same play style, from top to bottom, so the players and coaches will get used to his offensive and defensive systems, no matter who the players are, and no matter who the coach is.
