Philippines Cadet/Developmental Team

If we could have both, why not? They each bring different dimensions to the game. Rosario with his variety of offensive moves, Almazan with his defensive intensity. The ceiling is high for both.

Ok if we had both in the final 12 (i'm assuming this is what you mean) , which 2 of the 5 bigs would you drop (Junmar, Slaughter, Japeth , Pingris , Ranidel) ? note Blatche is a shoo in.

Slaughter and pingris for me.. japeth is still japeth no matter what..

i dont think i'd pick both, or even one of them, right now over those veteran bigs. if needed though i'd just say the oldest.

I won't pencil either of them into the lineup as they could still be developed. RDO's consistent outside shooting is something neither of the two young ones have yet. But give them two to three years and they could supplant Pingris and Ranidel. It would be such a nice little problem for Tab to have.

I do think that either Rosario or Almazan have a good shot of making to the final 12 depending on their performance in the tryouts. In the case of Almazan his impact on the game has grown in the finals. If he continues to progress next conference, he will be hard not to consider.

Looks like Laos is on its way to picking up its first basketball win... on any level. Laos 55 - Brunei 47 after three quarters.

I hope these guys would improve and be like Pingris and De Ocampo on the near future. They should improve their range to the 3 point line and somehow have a decent ball handling skill.

Kwaan yoong jin still playing huh.. The one who squeeze the balls of taulava :D

So we'll probably beat brunei by 100+ pts next game if we don't show mercy on them... :)

This 2015 Sinag team is better than the 2011 & 2013 teams.... A very well-balanced team... They seem to be very cohesive too...

Tab influence being manifested this early? . . . . You cannot NOT get excited over the prospect of his coaching Gila 3.0 . . .

Anyone still think this sort of tournament help our young guys in any way?

Let's send the freaking Under 16 team.
