Philippine PBA Trades, Releases, Sign-ups, Rumours (vol. III)

We're overestimating our society if we really think that women's appearances doesn't factor in a lot of careers. Actresses, reporters, models, receptionists, flight attendants, waitresses, etc are all measured based on appearance. All things being equal, the one with "pleasing personality" gets the job.

Even very talented and proven celebrities lose work opportunities the moment they age and gain weight.

Jessica Soho is the lone exception LOL

I just realized that the collegiate boys (mostly KQ) are unavailable so either Abando or Heading might have a chance.
Just as long as the SBP realized this before you, we're good... but they should have known this as early as 7 months ago that La Salle has a game at San Juan the day before Gilas plays New Zealand at MoA and another game at San Juan maybe five and a half hours tops before the HK game.

For that matter, the Commisioners Cup starts just 3 days after the HK game. Gilas will win without KQ against HK, but maybe they do need someone else to play the two and backup Brownlee at the three against New Zealand if Ramos won't be ready. I'm assuming there wouldn't be a problem with the other B.League Gilas players.

Like I said in other threads/posts, Gilas is lucky that its really just New Zealand they have to deal with as far as potential scheduling clusterfucks for now. But once the FIBA Asia Cup is done and World Cup Qualifiers kick in, it'll be different layers of scheduling problems to deal with.

We really need the PBA to go to the two-conference format after the Asia Cup up to the 2027 World Cup to avoid scheduling issues. There's also EASL to consider.

Windows are on November-December 2025, June-July 2026, October-November 2026, and February-March 2027. World Cup starts on 27 August 2027. We need the season to end at least on June 2027 to give our PBA guys time to rest and then prepare, and time to consider replacements in case of injury.

Let Mikey Williams and Jordan Heading to have their rights given to Converge and Troy Rosario will somehow signs with them. Remove the idiotic 4-pt line. Play more games in province and small arenas, and watch how fans who wants a competitive environment go back watching.

I don't really care at all even if all of those bullshit unfair trades and farm teams will still exist for SMC and MVP for as long as they let other independent teams to be competitive too (Converge, Rain or Shine, and hopefully Phoenix).

As expected, Jamie Malonzo won’t be playing in the coming window due to injury. There’s also talk that he could be traded back to an Smc farm team.

Nothing concrete, just rumors at this point.

Jamie for Arvin swap Again??? Hahaha

Cone doesnt want Arvin, I think Arvin has never been better in the PBA but despite that Cone never takes him for Gilas, hes soured on him bec Arvin cant defend well.

After waiting for so long, it seems CONVERGE might already drop its P1.2 million/month offer to TROY ROSARIO.

“We’ve been here since 2 weeks ago. We can’t wait any longer. It seems he’s waiting for somebody while ignoring our offer and taking it for granted. We tried our best”.

Kuliglig told me TROY ROSARIO is set to sign with Ginebra.

Another kuliglig told me that Ginebra’s contract is allegedly worth P700,000/ month.

More to come.

Crazy if it is true that Rosario chose to sign a much lesser contract and give up 500k a month to join ginebra. But my guess here is that SMC and Converge came to an agreement that Converge withdraw their offer and allow ginebra to sign Rosario as part of the trade for Jordan Heading.

Probably includes some perks/kabuhayan package/ bonusws which can offset the converge offge

well converge dodged a bullet, they’ll be overpaying for a 30+ yr old rosario

Is that other package from SMC all includes any SMC players even those bench players? It's hard to believe that even the likes of Kyt Jimenez, Raymond Aguilar or Jerick Balanza are included on those perks given by SMC.. maybe the likes of Scottie, LA or Junmar will have those.. how about those fil-ams? I'm sure after they retire they will go back to US.. how they will have those package if they will go back to US (like Caguioa)? Unless they will stay here and take a job like being a coach in any SMC related teams...

I think Converge already set even they lose in Troy sweepstakes.. they have Javillonar, Baltazar and Ben Phillips in their roster.. better to develop those players than raging towards recruitment on Troy... Troy meanwhile, he has to take consequences, Look at Jeron Teng, Vic Manuel, Jackson Corpuz, etc... !!! They pick SMC group due to higher salary but they suffered decreasing their value as assets.. now they are both possible going to MPBL after their confidence lost due to benching.. One conference or two that his game drop and his value will go downwards same as Teng...

Teng is an overrated overpaid guy. He does not have a single high level skill. He is a decent player but he gets paid too much. The guy has been living off his college accomplishments. Just by his skills alone and minus his popularity do you honestly think that he would've gotten the salary he has gotten so far in the PBA?
