You're correct. Ballungay is the logical choice and the best talent available outside of Barefield and Balti. He is close to 6'7 and only 22 years old with a lot of upside. On top of that, if Kai B gets that FIBA exception it's better to acclimatize himself early to CTC's intricate triangle. I would be very pissed and disappointed if Tim screw this up and picked Abarrientos or worse Tiongson with that 3rd pick. They still have Nards and Ahanmisi to fill-in for Thompson's absence. Plus Holt can definitely play the lead guard within Cone's system.

I saw it in his page... Are SMB sure Blackwater will pick Barefield? Blackwater is under MVP and the latter will have say who will they pick.. there are many quality guards in the draft that are cheaper than Barefield.. they can also choose either RJ, Nelle or Lastimosa too... But all of three quality guard rookies, RJ is better player since he has tons of experience playing internationally...

Feel you bro. CS can defend those big imports. Japeth or Isaac can't. Well, I hope CStand can get an MVP or at least another BPC before father time caught up with him. He deserves it.

They have also Pinto as back up guard, Mav and for sure the 10th pick of Dyip will also go to SMC teams.. and BTW, guys like Lastimosa, Nelle will likely pick somewhere late 1st round or early 2nd round.. you know the system in the PBA circus "papahinigin muna yan".. and they are ripe for harvest then you know what happens next... Basketball is always a tall mans game, and PBA is still Junmar's era... Quality bigs/forward are necessity than quality guards..

idk the agenda of others (not here) but websites like spin, and other vloggers who make mock drafts pushing Tiongson for Ginebra, why would they waste the third pick for someone who is old and has not play for almost 2 years, its Kai or RJ for me

and the fucker even ranked PBA as the least popular league in the country behind PVL, UAAP, NCAA and MPBL but he doesn't get the same engagement he is getting from the PBA from these "more popular" leagues

May I have a question? Why Cstand wants to leave Ginebra? Many players wanted to be part of most popular team in the PBA while Cstand wanted to be out? He is the best player currently there and he can do whatever he wants there.. even CTC somehow adjust his coaching for him... Why?

If Ginebra didn't involve Holt in this current trade then RJ will likely the choice.. but because Holt was involved then CTC knew that they badly need talented forward that fits within Old Japeth and Go... They lose to Meralco because of Hodge, Almazan, Bates combo.. they need to match up with them...

Robert because its his contract year, if he somehow managed to get a fiba exemption his price will trise up even at 35 due to his playing style

This is true. But Ballungay is too much of a talent to resist over RJ. At least in my opinion, bro. Maybe, just maybe, Nelle or Lastimosa slips up to the 17th overall pick. Heck, I would even try Bartlett or Penney with one of Ginebra's 2nd round picks if I were Tim.

Many says SMC can pay every player, especially if they are loyal to SMC.. But why hesitant on Cstand? If SMC can't pay Cstand's salary desire then who among PBA teams outside SMC will willing to pay for Cstand?

Obviously, him being ostracized from the league caused a permanent hatred for PBA/SMC. Eh mapaghiganti pa naman yan. Lol. But he still got to earn a living and PBA fans are his main source of audience. The duality of the man.

CStand was always seen having tantrums whenever he was being subbed out though, he requested a trade a season ago as it seems he do not like they system of coach Tim, maybe he feels like he doesn't really fit with the triangle system, though he posted that he sorted it out with the team and still wants to continue with Ginebra but knowing coach Tim if a player's attitude is detrimental to team's harmony he will not hesitate to ship out the player, kumbaga may lamat na

Some say he will still eventually end up in the SMC camp, over at Magnola / Purefoods. Alpransis' least favorite team
