That was before, Since drafting Scottie, he didn't pick small guards since then... BTW, Scottie is a 6 footer (?) guard, not that small in PBA standards... And with having Holt as his starting PG for now, Ballungay is the obvious choice... He wants size at forward position
You're correct. Ballungay is the logical choice and the best talent available outside of Barefield and Balti. He is close to 6'7 and only 22 years old with a lot of upside. On top of that, if Kai B gets that FIBA exception it's better to acclimatize himself early to CTC's intricate triangle. I would be very pissed and disappointed if Tim screw this up and picked Abarrientos or worse Tiongson with that 3rd pick. They still have Nards and Ahanmisi to fill-in for Thompson's absence. Plus Holt can definitely play the lead guard within Cone's system.
