Serbia basketball's talent is just too deep. Marami talaga silang magagaling na players.

Rakocevic isn't really a product of Serbian basketball since he is born and raised in the US, went to an NCAA D1 school too. Normally Euro prospects play in Europe instead of playing in the US.

I compared the PBA offenses to KBL and B.League offenses, and here's what I found in that same span:

KBL:

2019-20: Seoul SK (112.3), Suwon KT (110.4)
2020-21: KCC (114.0), Anyang (113.3), Suwon KT (112.3), KOGAS (111.8), Ulsan (111.3), Goyang (111.1)
2021-22: Suwon KT (115.6), Seoul SK (115.6), KOGAS (113.8), Anyang (113.6), KCC (113.3), Ulsan (110.6), Goyang (110.3)

B.League:

2019-20: Aishin (115.1), Hitachi (114.2), Alvark (114.2), Brex (114.0), Chiba (114.0), Kawasaki (113.7), Ryukyu (113.4)
2020-21: Chiba (120.1), Aishin (119.2), Toyama (118.4), Alvark (118.2), Brex (116.4), Kawasaki (115.1), Ryukyu (115.0), Hitachi (113.3), Nagoya (112.9), Osaka (112.0), Kyoto (110.6)
2021-22: Chiba (120.4), Shimane (119.5), Kawasaki (118.2), Nagoya (116.9), Ryukyu (115.7), Brex (115.0), Alvark (114.7), Aishin (112.5), Toyama (111.2), Hiroshima (111.0)

Looks like there's kind of a difference in offensive output between the leagues. Begs the question, are the PBA's offensive ratings low because the defense is good, or because the offense is bad? Conversely, are the B.League's and KBL's offensive ratings high because the offense is good, or because the defenses are bad? Another thing is, do the imports play a big part in the better offenses?

I also compared the average PBA offensive rating to the offensive ratings in the NBA, Euroleague, KBL, B.League, and CBA.

Here's what I found:

NBA: 112.0 (best 116.7, worst 104.5; 19 teams above average)
Euroleague: 111.9 (best 118.2, worst 105.1; 9 teams above average)
KBL: 111.1 (best 115.6, worst 102.2; 5 teams above average)
B.League: 110.2 (best 120.4, worst 96.9; 10 teams above average)
CBA: 110.3 (best 120.1, worst 97.2; 13 teams above average)
PBA Governors’ Cup: 106.3 (best 114.5, worst 99.8; 5 teams above average)
PBA Philippine Cup: 99.0 (best 105.6, worst 90.2; 8 teams above average)

Levels of competition aside, looks like that the offensive ratings in the B.League, KBL, and CBA are closer to the NBA's and Euroleague's than the PBA's is to the Asian leagues'. I think with that in mind, PBA offenses have a lot to improve on.

You have to take consideration that the PBA is the only league that allows only 1 import w/ height limit too lmao. They also have the AFC which to me is harmful for the development of our players IMO

Ginebra was a complete team with arvin around lost to meralco last conf because arvin the stretch giy when you play cs and japeth was injured.

Cs isnt utilized blaying 25 minutes japeth needs burn napeth cannot stop 6'10 imports

Two questionable trades in a row for Converge and Ayo. Gave up too much for another pint size guard in Melecio and now let go of 2 promising players tailor made for their run and gun game in exchange for a mediocre player in Balanza and an undersized 4 in Ferrer who has really slowed down due to weight issues.

Yes, Hill has potential. Maybe the effort in D is lacking. But Ferrer is actually a disinterested defender and just makes up with gulang. Balanza is a decent backup PG with some size. On Bulanadi, maybe issues on defense also.

And northport is reluctant to trade centerpiece..is like northport trying to milk converge more

Well thats what happen when buying all those assets in PD30 time that did not have the intended economic growth. Being crony, he paid alot to get those assets

That's the problem when you have the connection, not necessarily the track record, to borrow as much as you want and buy anything you want. Phoenix was profitable because of smuggling. Phoenix had the money to buy and maintain a PBA team and yet none to pay for the ethanol they use? Ramon Ang has said that Petron has been losing a lot of money, before the recent oil price increase. And he marveled at the efficiency of Phoenix because they were profitable.

And being a crony means he pays less than non-cronies. Look at how much Ayala lost by being forced to sell Maynilad to Razon for a discount.
