What is this? Will they be even allowed to participate in the playoffs if they somehow finish in the top 8? How about the salary cap? Will they be under it? Hehe

If Tab manages to go to SMC and teach the coaches in that group on how to scheme on defense, move the ball, and develop players, that's MVP's loss.

Hope he might go to Ginebra, because the defense has been a MESS.
 
I find it hard to believe that Tab will move to SMC. Where will he land? Terrafirma lol :D

Cone, Victolero and Austria are locked into multi-year contracts.

Yes I dont think he will go to SMC. Victolero is doing well. Tim Cone wont easily be replaced. SMB seems to have corrected their course. Unless SMB underperforms big time I dont think there is a vacancy in SMC.

Its too bad. Tab is a great basketball mind and has contributed to our basketball program more than anybody. Too bad MVP is petty.

maybe similar to what SMC did to Coach Rajko, dumped him in Barako Bull, which became competitive then eventually landed a "consultant" job in smb

or maybe UST finally accepts long hairs offer to bankroll its mbt then assigns tab as coach?

but the most probable scenario would be retirement, especially with the pandemic still not ending anytime, might as well prioritize health as he is part of the at risk population .

Its absurd that Tab will be headed to Letran. They dont have the means to pay Tab’s huge salary. SMC’S support to Letran is limited.

well we all thought Calvin would be banned in the PBA due t his antics and Long hair's hatred (their fued is well documented) , but he's now in Magnolia, maybe Chua is like Vince McMahon, can let by gones be by gones as long as you earn him money

Al Chua hate is bad here, he is your enemy if youre the other side but he is your best buddy if youre in his side..

Just like in politics, no permanent enemies, and no permanent friends, only permanent interests.

Hmmm tab has too much of an ego to go to a farm team especially he knows once
He builds the players, they will just be traded to the main team
 
I think the only way Tab is picked by SMC is if SMB underachieves. They are a fully loaded team. If OJ sustains his form or Shabazz replaces him. They should reach the finals.
 
Cone and Victolero right now are irreplaceable in my opinion.

Only Austria could be replaced if SMB underachieves with their lineup.

Coach Tab to SMB will be scary. SMC will literally have 3/4 of the top 4 coaches. And the other one Coach Chot of TNT will even be focusing on gilas.

So, SMC took this to another level. Not only the players, but coaches recruiting. Hehe.

If Coach tab ends up with letran, at least he can develop Basti Reyes. I hope the kid will be lend in the future though
