Oh god what the MVP and the crew are doing to Parks is so bad. Hope FIBA steps in/nudges MVP in the right direction.

Also B League isnt an option yet because he is a dual citizen unless he is not an Asian import.

This line about Parks is so legit:

This is really bad.

I will play devils advocate, and say a Player Union Could have help Parks.

Parks may be an hated player

But Players in position in Union can think that they need to do something, for them to not experience the same fate parks is having

But, anyway, pba have no player union.

As for Parks and Pba. Hays.

Pba should act right now. I said Ray has done a mistake too. But pba ang lumalabas na kontrabida dito.

I am for the player union.

If Parks will do this in NBA, his original team (TNT) will offer him a qualifying offer and he doesn't sign and no one will offer him a contract. What will happen to his rights?

Another question, PBA scenario, if Parks doesn't want to sign with TNT and want to sign with SMC, would that be fair also. I know PBA has a lot of unfair trades and rule violations of their own. But will this scenario will also be fair for the original team.

I still think as well he was pissed off he go snubbed on the pba awards the last time. Also, TNT not even pushing for his case might made Parks thinking that they dont care for him.

On the TNT perspective, eh he was being given a contract na sobra sobra naman sa maximum. I just think that a very good communication needs to happen between him and the management.

And from the management, I think it has to be with Chot Reyes since Chot is a very good, speaker, listener and motivator. I still think in the end, there would be a reunion with TNT and Parks, it just has to be a very good communication. Kung may hinaing kasi, wag kimkinin, always try to talk things out hindi yung huhulaan na lang ng management na may problema na pala.

Does he really? If he really wants to play for SMC then can't they just offer him a contract since he's a free agent?
 
The good part about the Quinito article is Chot's rhetoric is much different from TNT brass. Hopefully the TNT brass can sooner or later follow Chot's approach.

If they're gonna enter the PBA, the PBA should hopefully consider getting imports for the whole season (due to the presence of Kouame for Gilas), and raise the import height limit.

We're also in for some exciting matchups. I want to see how Gilas will fare against Ginebra or SMB, or even TNT.

And whose fault/decision is it that he doesn't have an agent?

It doesn't matter what the fans and other players say about him, all he needs to do is make all the right moves which will benefit him. But then he chose to shoot himself on the foot numerous times.
 
I think after this pandemic, PBA should rethink about the direction they will head at. I hope that they fuse the 2 import conferences into 1, permanently. I also hope that they should give a slot for FSA's/Foreign Residents/NP's and another slot for Asian-Pacific players so that players not only from Asia but also players from NZL, AUS, Fiji, Samoa, Guam and Tonga can play.

Well, these are all wishful thinking.
