I think shooting wise Jerrick is slightly better but Joshua plays more agressive and looks stronger than the timid Ahanmisi

From his MPBL highlights it show that he’s not just a shooter but he can also slash to the basket

Base on this video he looks way tougher than Ahanmisi in terms of build and game. I think thats what Jerrick lacks, he’s abit soft and doesnt have that takeover mentality thats why most scouts projected him to go 2nd round.

I never watch him in the UAAP with DLSU, and didnt see him play in the MPBL. Is he better than Ahanmisi?

yup, he is a better all around player than Jerrick. especially on the defensive end. he is an underrated defender as well.

Pba rules stated that the 1st pick will be not traded yet for atleast a year (is that correct?).. the possible way is in northport.. tnt can get that no.2 pick at the draft.. but the only way is if parks and tnt camp will talk to each other and clearly their issues.. parks for malonzo is little downgrade but that is only better trade for tnt to release parks and he has now on its way to his dream destination (ginebra) while getting malonzo w/o sacrificing key players and that 4th pick gives tnt more firepower and youth to that squad.. imagine the trio of malonzo, troy and erram in starting 5? That is very versatile squad and mikey williams is their facilitator.. parang 2008 vibes uli ginawa ni chot sa tnt..

How about Parks for Malonzo + Sean Manganti trade deal? I think that is a pretty even trade & something SMC won't oppose (Lets face it its SMC which decides about player acquisitions of Terrafirma & Northport). Parks will end up with any of the SMC teams - his preferred teams, then TNT gets rid of a prodigal son like Parks & hindi pa lugi ang TNT sa palitan ng players. Kung may malulugi man yan ay walang iba kundi Northport. But being an SMC farm team, Northport is suppose to have a depleted roster anyway. And who the hell cares about Northport?

How old is this guy now? It's been a decade since I saw him play for EAC. Is he a lot better now?

Enjoyed the discussion regarding NLEX being a darkhorse contender.

I believe that NLEX's success is totally dependent on Shaw's performance. Sure, Miranda, Soyud, and Quiñahan are all decent. But they cannot handle the bigs of Ginebra (Cstand, Japeth, Caperal) and SMB (June Mar, Mo, Arwind). If he can be a decent defensive, rim-running big like Reavis, they might have a chance to take down some giants. Even if Kiefer takes the leap, or if Mikey Williams posts Pringle-like numbers, NLEX will go nowhere if Shaw turns out to be a dud. Lucky for them, Yeng is the type of coach that squeezes every last drop of talent from his players.

I also feel like the Alas Ravena combo won't work since both are at their best when they have the ball in their hands. Things would be even more superfluous if they choose Mikey Williams who I believe is the best available talent at pick 3. If I were NLEX, I'd trade him to Meralco, ROS, Alaska, or BW for a shooter or pick/s. I'd slide Semerad to the 2. He can backup Jericho Cruz at the 2. Ravena and Sumang at the 1.

Maybe ROS/Alaska would trade their first round pick for Alas. I would then select Santillan/Pasaol/Adamos. Or maybe a Mike DiGregorio and second round pick?

TNT with a security guard agency.

Castro, heruela, montalbo, vosotros and a pending Mikey williams

montalbo and vosotros are fringe players, any moment they could be released or traded to make room for wings/bigs

Montalbo, I think, has a role to play in TNT. A defensive minded guard.

Honestly, I dunno how Vosotros is in the league. He was good at DLSU, but right now, there are so many better and taller guards than him.

miranda, soyud, quinahan and shaw, that's 24 hard fouls or 8 flagrant fouls. more than enough to shake BGSM's frontcourt

Omg 8 flagrant fouls. Maybe NLEX should trade Alas for Belga so that would be 10 flagrant fouls. Haha!

So what blockbuster trade/s is/are we going to expect in the coming days?

"Northport trades Greg Slaughter for Magnolia's Raffi Reaves & Kyle Pascual"?

or maybe "Northport trades Slaughter for SMB's Arwind Santos & Paul Zamar"?

This current trading season reminds me of the "arms race" NBA had a fews ago. The only problem with PBA's version is that most transactions are lop-sided and detrimental to the small market teams.

Well one side is leading the race by a mile. MVP teams got Trollano, out of shape Shaw, damage goods Belo, picks. They dont really compare to Abueva, CS, CJ etc. Not to mention they lost Parks and possibly Kiefer.

It appears that Yeng Guiao is disappointed of the NLEX-BWE-TNT trade. Yeng was very vocal of keeping their 3rd and 4th pick, as part of their long term preparation for the future of NLEX. But Chot Reyes wants to get Mickey Williams, trading TNT's bench players for the precious pick of NLEX, found it funny because it is almost the same pick they got from the Poy Eram trade last year. NLEX looked like a farm team of TNT, feel very bad for Yeng Guiao, he is a champion coach, one of the best in the PBA, doesn't deserve to be treated like that.

There are rumors Coach Yeng will go to Magnolia if Kirfer - Troy Trade happened.

Kawalan ng MVP group if Coach Yeng will go to SMC.

Only good coach in MVP camp will be Norman Black.

Manila clasico will be more interesting if Yeng Guiao will coached Magnolia, but I think Yeng fits more in Ginebra, it would bring back the Ginebra aura of the 90's.

Di na daw matutuloy Kiefer trade.. Kiefer rumored to play in Japan, If PBA allows...

Yeah. I know.

Coach Yeng Confirmed kiefer was offered.

And here comes Pba saying " WALA KAYO SA PWESTO NYO KUNG WALANG PBA". LOL.
