SMC TRADES

MAGNOLIA - Abueva Trade (FAIR TRADE. MOST POSTERS HERE IS EVEN ARGUING PHOENIX WON THE TRADE)

GINEBRA - Cstand Trade (FLEECED LEVEL TRADE. Northport could have gotten another player + Frp)

San Miguel - CJ Perez Trade (VETO LEVEL TRADE. PBA IS THE ONLY LEAGUE WHO WILL APPRVE THAT STUPID TRADE)
 
Hmm Snow reports that Kiefer is headed to the B. League despite having signed a 3 year contract with NLEX. His flight is supposed to be next month.

Just another ordinary offseason for SMC. PBA better get rid of the farm teams asap.
 
Would be really interested how that would play out given that Kiefer has a live contract with NLEX. Are the Ravena's and MVP at odds?

Im more interested on how the PBA deals with this. Do they block it? If he forces his way does he get banned? Are the MVP group ok with this? Im not a lawyer but I guess this is breach of contract.

Yeah. It's very intriguing. And it would set a precedent. If for some reason Mvp okays this, I fully expect the PBA to block it or threaten sanctions for Ravena.

On the other hand, pwedeng kuryente hehe

Yeah, it's just rumours palang naman at this point. However, where's there's smoke, there's fire.

most likely thing to happen if true is either Kiefer or the Japanese team will buyout his contract from NLEX, hmm

forgot to include in my original post that it was the best case scenario, worse case scenario would be similar to japeth-gilas-burger king drama in 2009 which almost led to japeth bening banned in the league and changes to the draft rules
 
What are the chances that NP's trading Bolick next? Which SMC team ba needs an upgrade at PG?

BGSM - an aging Tenorio and Scottie at the PG heir
SMB - Aging Cabagnot + scoring guard Terrence
Magnolia - still a log jam with Lee, Barroca, Jalalon and Melton

so i guess SMB needs Bolick more?
 
I'm sure SMC and MVP are wait-and-see if Bolick returns to his old form or not. There's no rush to get him.

Magnolia has Jalalon. Ginebra has Thompson. SMB has Romeo and Perez.

They will even have Tall Versatile Forwards.

IN FACT, GINEBRA IS THE ONLY PROPER SIZED TEAM IN EACH POSITION
