There is a chance, however, that those boujee fans and fangirls might find someone else in the UAAP to support and fangirl, much like what happened to Kiefer, Jeron, and Tiu.
 
Anthony Semerad is dating Sam Pinto but he is a meh player. If he was as good as like James Yap maybe hell be big. Reminds me that Calvin and Terrence are big partly because of Vice.

And what's the common denominator? SMC. In terms of popularity, players have not transcended their teams. Even Yap's popularity dipped when he ended up at ROS.

Abueva is the exception but even he got popular as a villain versus the SMC teams.

EDIT: Also Alaska is decently popular, its probably the 3 SMC teams then Alaska in terms of popularity
 
Part of it is pinoy showbiz love team culture. While the kids are playing in the UAAP, stars are trying to become the next kathniel.

My father doesnt watch uaap so my kapit bahay, even innthe street to watch up game walang uaap..its only a stufent league tignan mo bakit outside ateneo la salle up walang nanonood ng games except studets who are required to watch and tickets.. upper box lang ng p a yun price..

You know how i hate gma programs lol..and the hate i got to dds is same as the yellows haha..As for abs cbn sports you know this but they are the closest ones to teaching the formula vintage had back then..

If uaap is a crown jewel that abs has.. why did they not orgaize a bubble as it is money magnet for them?

aside from IATF regulations barring them, the cost of the bubble would outweigh the potential income (unless gambilng related income would be included in the mix)

Well what abs did to market nba on masa crowd, they hire papa bear and co. to cover their games.. but for uaap they students and their so called alumni constiture their niche marketing, something ncaa can't tap and the reason abs will always take them for granted..

And who is the main sponsor of the PBA, the maker of motorcysles, the primary mode of transpo of commom FIlipino male

Is anything that merit my attention? Lata.. how many abs cbn that they furloughed? they just retrench their excess employees and just retain the more sipsip este the skilled ones, kaya naman pala nila mag blocktime sa a2z and tv5...

Don't worry ABS will come back even not in 2022 agad, agad too much money for our politicians to not take for granted

His sons appeal to burgis teens, but for masa he is known as a kapuso comedian:cool:

I remember one time when Gilas having a scrimmage against alaska way abck in 2017, Dickie Bachmans daughter together with her friends watching the game and Kobe decided to do a dunk showcase in front of them hehe
