Uytengsu used to be vocal about this,probably fed uo with the system already, same with Yeng when he was the coach of ROS (ano pinagkaiba ng max namin da max nila?) ROS owners are not exactly that vocal, or just accepted the fact that there is no point in contesting SMC as it might cost them business deals ( paint is very impt in the PPP business lorded by SMC and MVP)



i remember the CStan trade and how the house was divided between MVP, BWE, Phx, ROS and Alaska vs SMC, NP and Kia, im surprised it didnt happen again

Northport coaches are members of Longhair's superfriends. Heck Bonnie Tan is his employee at Letran. Ownership is shady. They probably are SMC's farm team.

Nothing materialized from it (except the Narvasa ouster). CStand still played for SMB.

under the table in pba parlance = side contract outside of UPC and not a tax shield or relief contract

Yeah, they have a lot of the best players in the PBA, more importantly the best bigs. Ipahiram n'yo naman para matulungan ang mga bata nating bigs.

Aren't there rumors that Alaska and ROS are leaving the league? Maybe that's the reason why they aren't as vocal as they used to be.

phoenix is under udenna which is a P4B company, northport's mother company is sultan 900 which is a P9B company and columbian motors w/c is terrafirma's mother company is also a multibillion peso company, alaska is barely a P400M company a drop in the bucket compared to these "farm" teams

Nope, Ginebra wins this by a mile. They showed they can win without Greg and caperal/Aguilar/devance can man the center position. Give them Ian and the frontcour rotation is set as all 4 can play with each other.

Mags wins this. Cstan is the 2nd best bigman in the league and Barney is probably the 4th or 5th. They only gave away a retiring Ping, a hustle player and skinny fat Sangalang.

Greg and Cstan in the same team? with Lee, Barroca, Banchero and Jalalon as other key players, so the death five could be 2 Centers and 3 PGs, Magnolia is like a puzzle with non fitting pieces

edit: still no shooters for magnolia
