Philippine PBA Trades, Releases, Sign-ups, Rumours (vol. III)

Unfair.

So this implies

Semerad, Al hussaini, blackwater first round pick(1st overall pick maybe), bw 2nd round pick

Have the same value as

Daquioag,magat, taha, and 2 tnt future picks(projected 10th overall)

These is almost the same as the cstand for tubid, yancy, mccarthy trade

Exactly, Blackwater actually LOST assets for simply being the conduit for the Erram transfer.

TNT got what they need, and NLEX got assets in return (that BW pick could be Thirdy, Kobe or Munzon).

BW got the poo poo platter. What is most bizarre is that the Blackwater owner is the one most disappointed when it got disapproved! Alam na this.

MVP will not do that.. If he sells NLEX then his power bloc will be lessen.. w/ 3 SMC teams on power then he needs NLEX to be there.. He will lose majority of power in PBA board..

With the way things are going, it's already clear SMC has more power than he does. Having NLEX or not, it's the same.

In my opinion in the PBA SMC is the boss. Near 2nd MVP group. Kung suwapang MVP group 'mas' suwapang SMC

To hell with being unfair if it means having another asset for Gilas. Would you rather have SMC draft the likes of Kobe, Thirdy or Oftana? Yes, they’d probably be cadets for 3 years, but after that uubohin na mga yan, esp if someone they don’t like is running the show.

Perez to SMC is looming, if not imminent. I hope he’s got enough balls to pull off a Pingris or Tenorio, who is said to have had a national stint clause in his contracts.

Exactly... Its still one year to go before the next draft, were not sure yet if BW will suck the whole year to get #1again...

So this trade saga end with TNT getting Erram, Blackwater getting Daquioag, Magat and Tahat plus 2 first round picks by TNT and NLEX getting Semerad and Al Hussaini plus 2020 First round of BW and 2nd round pick...

Hmmm. It is easy for MVP group to order blackwater to tank. Blackwater can bench the players who is hot in a game.

That is why I suggest a draft lottery for pba like in nba. So team will not know who will have the first pick

Yeah. Napaghalataan masyado becauuse of his reactions.

Pba is losing their credibility

Unlike in nba, they void the chris paul trade to lakers even it is a fair trade. Cause they think cp3 kobe is too much.

Now, they allow, but make sure a team will get a lot of assets and cash in return.

No wonder why coach tab prefer to not rely on pba

That is business.. Actually the trade is fair for all if you look at paper.. What if Blackwater did good this season? NLEX sure will lose in this trade.. and look at TNT, they give already 3 players plus 2 first rounder.. What if these one of the first rounders will end up high picks? Blackwater will win this trade.. JP Erram is good player and top 5 big man in the league today.. But if you compare this trade to a Stanley Pringle or Cstand trade eh TNT give too much while SMB and Ginebra only give bunch of bench players w/o losing assets..

TNT bought the pick, the commissioner tried to make it as fair as possible unlike Narvasa and Cstand but its a bad trade.

The NBA owned the Hornets that time, and acted in its best interest, hence the trade veto, plus its a three team trade with Gasol and Odom going to the Rockets, Dragic + fillers to New Orleans and Chris Paul to the Lakers,,,

BW on the other hand, ....(fill in the blanks)

That's their choice.. atleast they do is still fair even we know that they will do a plan to make the pick of Blackwater become precious pick.. unlike SMC teams trade eh yun talaga highway robbery scam.. giving a Cstand type of player for bunch of retirees and unknown player.. or a Pringle trade that they give bunch of bench players and past of their primes, while Pringle is a legit top 5 best player in the PBA today.. TNT get Erram for Daquioang (former Gilas cadets), Taha and Magat (serviceable bigs) and two first rounders (that is consider a big catch by Blackwater)

So what are you saying is

SMC trades are more lopsided because we already knew who have the first pick. While MVP trades are not lopsided because we dont know yet who will be the first pick(although we all know MVP will order the bw to tank)

Ginebra trade is fair. Sol,Jervy, and ferrer are great role players. Besides Globalport will lose pringle also to free agency, so they trade him so they can get any value in return.

Cstand I will admit is unfair trade. Tubid,Reyes, Mccarthy is nowhere near the value of cstand. Mccarthy is a good player but not a franchise player.

TNT also did it with kelly and reyes.

Meralco did it with almazan.

Bottomline is: MVP and SMC controls the pba. But SMC has more power in pba, while MVP teams have more power in collegiate like admu and san beda

Blackwater never did good. Their best is quarterfinals exit.

Tnt is one of contenders. So their pick is worthless.

You are like comparing Lakers draft pick and Cavaliers draft pick before the 2020 nba season starts.

We didnt know who will get a higher pick yet. But we can assume that cavs pick will have more value

A revenue-sharing style of business model can possibly help parity in the PBA. I'm aware the NBA version was designed to help the small-market team, but i think a version of revenue sharing is possible to incentivize the competitive teams therefore giving motivation to the weaker teams to improve their rosters and build their fanbase instead of cashing in and selling their star players.

Wishful thinking of course, definitely won't be approved by pba board dominated by the pba oligarchs lol

So if it's MVP, it's business. If it's SMB, it's highway robbery. So far you're the only one here who thought it's a fair trade.

TNT and NLEX had no choice but to trade for the pick a season before because there is a ban as a reaction from the CS trade. But MVP did the same before.

Pwede naman umamin na biased o fan eh. Hehe. Let's not pretend anymore.

Yes we are biased, as the players taken from the trade can possibly play for Gilas...MVP is strengthening his OBA teams not just for PBA purposes but for Gilas also while SMC they trade players and just hoard them from Gilas.

Blackwater has zero history of hoarding players for Gilas. Its not about Gilas. Cheat to win baby

It's better for our NT. I'd rather have the farm teams trade their asset to MVP teams. You risk those assets
ending up with SMC by traing them to other farm teams or independent teams. I don't really support any PBA team anyway

What is best for the NT is to stop prioritizing MVP talents for the NT. Best team available.

Oh come from bro... What prioritizing TNT talebt for NT.... You think SMC will lend their players if not Pareng Yeng or Tim is the Coach? Its always a questuinnof availability, meaning players available more than 10days...Besides why so bothered with SMC players eh they dont fit internationally, JF is a defensive nightmare on PNR, Slaughter is Slow, Japhet is still nerbiotic, Lassiter is injury prone, Romeo is tio small to be a SG, Santos and Cabagnot are retirable and Pringle and Ross are ineligible...Besides TNT first 5 at least Fiba Asia level serviceable...
