This only makes me hate SMC more. Swapang talaga.

If only SMC is National-team friendly, my hatred for that group won't be this much. Swapang na nga ng mga quality players, ayaw pa magpahiram ng players sa National team. I could only wish nothing but failure & bad luck to SMC.

To be fair SMC is not national team friendly because MVP is the one running the NT. Nagpahiram naman SMC during Powerade sponsored national team.

Imagine SMC lending players that can help gilas. And gilas became successful. All credit will be given to MVP.

It happened last 2013. All credit goes to MVP. Although Junmar, Japeth, and Pingris is in that 2013 gilas team.

But Yeah. I also hate SMC not lending players, they have the best players. Evidenced by the last 3 years, all pba championships goes to SMC teams.

If only our basketball can get away with politics.

Well SMC lend all players requested by Guiao, from 5th and 6th windows to World Cup, result was 0-5 last World Cup. Its not in the manpower its in the preparation... Im all for independent Cadets pool with sine reinforcement from the Willing in the PBA plus Magic Hugot Clarkson, Kai, Edu and Exempted Kuoame...
 
Greg Slailughter is in DME right now. Training with Dalph Panopio's team.

Kaya pala natakot pba. They made this stupid ban rule on pna draftees.

Para mapigilan mga young players to go abroad. Lebron lopez will think twice now because of pba ban. He is decided na sana to go US e. Kaso
Pba crocs mentality happened.

Saw in Youtube one video, stating GS at DME training based on one IG post of Panopio.... Let see... Good thing GS is making true with his promise of becoming a better version of himself during this self imposed sabbatical...

I think we can get a partnership and exchange program with DME. With Dalph and Greg there, it will be logical.

Lebron lopez maybe will follow after.

Hope Pba will not stop our players

Yeah for real. Si panopio na nagpost e. Atleasr they can talk to each other.

If only Greg(and junmar) goes to DME when he is 17 just like Kai with TSF.

Greg can be a player in g league. Or at best 10 day contract with nba team. Wag nya lang unahan si Kai Sotto. Hahha.

See SBP/PBA? These implies that our training cant catch up with the training of US. So we must sent iur best young prosepcts there.

I know it will cost a lot. But if you will invest, Kayo rin ang makikinabang sa Huli.
 
After I read all sources about Greg. I fully understand now his decision.

"Aalis ako para di nyo ko mapakinabangan pangtrade".

Greg also contributes to Ginebras past championships. It hurts that SMC will just make you a toy that they will throw in trash can when they eant a new toy.

Im a Ginebra fan. But SMC doesnt treat their players well especially veterans. They are trading them after nilang pakinabangan.

If Caguioa and Helterbrand (back then) will be traded, I assure you they will retire also.

But as they say, business is a business. Kapag wala ka nang silbi, tapon Ka na. Salamat na lang sa serbisyo na naibigay mo. In short
"WALANG UTANG NA LOOB"

How strange it would be if by any stroke of marketing strategy, Miami Heat Coach Spoelstra sign up Greg for a 10 day contract and beat out Kai Sotto in the NBA to be the first locally trained player in the NBA... Ano naman kaya sasabihin ng mga bashers, that PBA is better than NBA as PBAs reject makes it to NBA. Hahaha

Or even worse, they will say Slaughter is better than Kai. Hahahahaha.

Seriously though, Slaughter has slight chance because he is tall. But Nba is leaning toward stretch centers.

So Slaughter may be Tacko Fall level. A g league player. Thats the best Greg can achieve I believe. Not Bad.

Slaughter pre injury was not bad after all, it all went down heal aftee the ankle surgeey in 2015 and ACL in 2016...He baloones also in weight upon his return, weighing as much as 290...He has slimmmed down now to around 260 thus he has been healthy this past conferences... He just lost his confidence offensively due to limited role ans touches at at GSM... Anyway, the calling card of Slaughter is his height, had he been just 6-6, he might not even make it to PBA...
